It seems like the biggest take away is learning to getting going in first gear, which was my biggest nervousness learning a manual, but now i prefer it If youre comfortable driving say a Subaru STI as a daily, should you be safe on something like a suzuki 650 for your very first bike or is that too much? Could you go higher? Comment from : pocket |

People in the comments talking about experiencing their bikes with 500-1000+ cc whereas my country's cc limit is 160 😂 Just bought Yamaha Fzs V2 (150cc) the biggest issue with me is confidence Comment from : 94D33M |

You should suggest they take their state's learn to ride/safety class In Ohio its $50 for 4 hrs classroom and two 8 hr days leaning how to ride and they provide the motorcycle Most importantly, they learn safety rules, low speed handling, stopping on curve, counter steering, emergency braking, and avoidance maneuvering Driving around a parking lot is one thing, but the street is another Comment from : fixento |

I’ve been on bicycles and tricycles since I was 2 years old, but because I’m a girl I never had the pleasure of riding a small dirt bike or even moped - years ago it just wasn’t a girl thing I’m sure if I was a boy my dad would have made sure I had a gas bike though I always had a bicycle and rode all over the city no problem Recently got into mopeds and just got a Honda cycle Have a channel for all the 2 wheeled things I ride This is a great video Yes, easy does it on the clutch and throttle Some may be used to electric scooters and bikes and even the gas mopeds have throttles you need to whale on to get the thing to go, but not a motorcycle Also, remember to brake slowly and look up and in the direction you are going Comment from : Kara R |

a friend of mine had a bike when i was younger i was about 15-17 years oldlately ive had the desire to buy one something has rubbe doff on me but i have no idea how to ride oneive had a standard car and driven standard things but i never really knew how to ride a motorcycle or a dirt bike the way he explains it seems easy but i wonder when shifting or using the clutch if you have to go to neutral everytime when shifting up or downin a car i always did like if you're in gear 1 you'd have to shift through neutral to get to gear 2 but if you shifted to third gear im guessing just go up and not back down to neutralstupid question maybe but that show im understanding itseems alot easier than i thought id still rather take lessons or soemthing like i see those peopel doing in parking lots just to make sure i got eveyrthing americans explain things so different than canadians do they always seem to leave seomthing out and also when youre shifting or using the clutch to shift up release the throttle completely? as in let it reset back to idle? on a car you dont do that you keep pushing the pedal further but on a bike you can only twist your wrist so far i guessi think with practice id eventually get it it skind of like give it as much gas as much as youre letting go of the clutch? cars are like that but the whole clicking it when youre good at it i guess is different Comment from : Sonny C |
|

How are you not even going to touch on counter-steering? One of, if not the most important elements of actually riding and maneuvering As someone who raced Motocross for 7 years and has had 2 crotch rockets and a Harley, I can say with confidence that it is nothing like riding a bicycle Comment from : Flash LeJeune |

As a new rider, that slow easing out on the clutch is the best and most to-the-point tip I've seen yet So many other vids just say something vague like "give it some gas and slowly let out the clutch" You giving a real sense of how long to ease out the clutch is super informative Comment from : Clif Haley |
