I HIGHLY recommend learning to drive a stick shift car before getting on a motorcycle That cuts down on what you have to learn by half, and it is a lot easier stalling in a four wheeled car in an empty parking lot It is a lot to take in on a motorcycle if you have to learn how to downshift to not stall, etc, etc And taking a bike with gears up and down a hill and feeling how the gears work will prep you before the car br And second gear does not carry you to 70 mph on beginner bikes More like 30 He was showing off

Just came home from the MSF course First day on a motorcycle Know what they told me about the front break? Don't keep any fingers over it You may only need two to press it But they tell you not to keep any fingers on it

I did my CBT a month ago and didn’t pass because the instructor wasn’t happy with my gear shifting/ clutch control But honestly as an instructor I wasn’t happy with how little help and instruction he provided to me as a first time rider (who doesn’t drive a car either) I feel like this 15 min video was more helpful than the 4 hour course I spent that day 🙄😂🤙🏻

Great video I am a beginner I recently passed the MSF course Got me a 2023 Yamaha R3 love this bike The problem I'm having is shifting gears When i shift up ez out on the clutch, roll on the throttle i get a jerk feeling Is it all in the timing with the clutch and throttle? How far should the clutch be out before i roll back on the throttle?

I have serious issues with regulating gas and clutch while exiting a U turn on a slight hill Either clutch is not connected and gas will not push the engine so bike will fall backwards or the clutch is too connected and throttle not so responsive so engine will stall I am at a loss with this, I need to pass a license test and it’s where I am stuck
