The last thing I think you should do is talk s**t about other people The last person I would come to for business advise, especially when you talk bad about people that more people follow It's not good for business
Comment from : Nicholas Sciarrillo

Comment from : Marco Bauer

shannon Brown
Great video but not everyone has a cnc router! Great ideas but with the exception of the stove cover almost all those ideas would be too much labour without a fancy robot doing the repeated work for you and to precision
Comment from : shannon Brown

Dale Plant
Showing the list of woodworking videos at the beginning when you mention YouTube videos telling us which projects that sell was a mistake because you showed Matthew Peech at the top His videos are fantastic He reverse engineer's products already selling Shows diverse ways to make them and how to market and sell them

aztek man
The "large letters" idea is "silly" You need a large storage area You need multiple of each letter You would need multiple styles

Well done!

What was that ‘you’re not that guy’ clip? ❤
Comment from : Murfles_McGee

marcus hepler
The videos you talk about with 731 wood works and Matthew peech, they aren’t teaching you how to build a businessthey are to teach beginners easy projects to build and sell here and there for a side hustle, also some of the projects on Matthew peechs channel are scaleable and he’s had a bunch of people that came back and said they’ve made certain items of his scaleable…but their channels are for beginner woodworkers for the most part
Comment from : marcus hepler

Brent Steiner
Another great video When you mentioned the micro breweries you had me at "beer," and I had an idea: coasters!br🪵🤔💭🍺
Comment from : Brent Steiner

Rose Farr 2
Look at your shop and you have a cnc! Not the norm
Comment from : Rose Farr 2

namgorf2001
You reference quite a few youtubers who show small projects that sell, claim they don't make any money, yet I make over half my monthly income solely on their suggested creations First thumbs down Try not to be so cocky and "I guarantee" attitude Second, "You've all seen these giant letters"literally never once seen these and didn't know they were even a thing Again with the blanket statements Stopped watching at this point
Comment from : namgorf2001

James Welbes
"you can do this with minimal tools, I made this with my CNCs" 😂🤡
Comment from : James Welbes

Joseph Young
What about baby momento box?
Comment from : Joseph Young

Romeo Rice
Lol Couldn’t get past the 1st one bc, oh I dunno…COST to build The POINT behind the videos you criticize is that they utilize scrap & spending $6-20 max on items that sell for $40-150+ Spin again
Comment from : Romeo Rice

nikos1e
Sorry, too much bla, bla, bla! Not act to see!
Comment from : nikos1e

Greg Safford
As a 20 year insurance veteran, I 100 second that you need to be extra careful with insurance if making kids toys In fact, you may have to go to special insurance companies if making kids toys So build the extra expense into your business plan

Comment from : brandon Simmelink

Wood and Wheelz
I do want to make money with my woodworking, but I don't want to become a business I'm a 100 Disabled Veteran and working is not an option I do woodworking as a therapeutic hobby, but I want to make a few bucks to support my other hobby, photography I use photography to help me get into events that my PTSD wouldn't generally allow me to go to For instance, growing up I enjoyed racing (all forms of it If it's fast and loud, I like it) But since the military, I'm very apprehensive to attend these events However, if I can "hide" behind my camera, it distracts my mind enough to enjoy the event So, back to what I was saying, I would like my woodworking to make some money to support my photography This video and your other one about projects that don't make money are great videos and very informative Thank you and God bless

Nathan Woods
Montessori was a person that developed a method of teaching young children by giving them the freedom to shape the way they learn over the formal teaching methods used today They are encouraged to use their imaginations and creative thinking to learn instead of pen and paper tasks So a Montessori toy would be something that encourages kids to experiment Its pretty interesting
Comment from : Nathan Woods

Dee Monjure
I’ve been making noodle boards for at least 4 years now People love them and Mother’s Day is my best selling time I’ve done quite a few different styles Love them!
Comment from : Dee Monjure

Fulla Blarney
I think identifying a niche market is the most important point By the way, I've never seen a stovetop cover in any home, because the objection is always 'Where do I put it when I want to use the stove?' They just do not sell in my area
Comment from : Fulla Blarney

LGB
storage units? WTF are you talking about

Angie Williams
Great video I enjoy watching videos about “what sells” because a lot of times they are simple projects and use up scraps But this video was different I like to make too many things So I like the idea of picking a niche market This video for me was more about planning things better Thanks for sharing
Comment from : Angie Williams

1:9 Woodworks
Thank you for sharing! Big letter project would requiere a whole lot of space and investments for the storage tho And I feel like one would be moving from woodworking to decor business insteadbrBut what I take from this is to think outside the box! There are way more opportunities out there than we think! 💪🏽
Comment from : 1:9 Woodworks

Jonathan Sumner

Comment from : Wendy Johnson

Bryan M
Every time I post a stove cover to a woodworking forum/group/subreddit: "yOu'LL bUrN yOuR hOuSe dOwN" Okay thanks Somehow I've remembered not to put a fork in an electrical socket, I promise not to put a stove cover on a lit stove
Comment from : Bryan M
