I shopped like this when we had kids at home It saved us alot of money over time! Now that there's just 2 of us, I tend to shop on a budget bi-weekly and I set aside so much of that budget for deals or stock up pantry items We generally spend $120 every 2 weeks and I set aside $30 for extra bargains, specials or pantry " stock up" items If I am fortunate and stay under budget, we will treat ourself to eating out one mealbrThanks for the Awesome Video!❤ Comment from : Cherylann Patterson |
|
This is how I shopped for many a moon When the family all lived at home, people did not believe me when they heard what I spent I'm now 74, hubby has passed and my sister lives with me We do even better because we do lighter meals most of the time I still buy and stock my freezer and pantry We usually only get to a store maybe once a month for major stuff and maybe once a month for bread and milk I've just found your channel through Dawn The one thing I did do way back when was only buy when food was on sale I knew almost to the day when something went on sale, I stocked up and it would last until the next time it went on sale I don't think I ever paid full price for my staples etc It can be done and is well worth the effort Comment from : Jeannette aka Jnett |
