I know Tillamook is supposed to be good, but it's just so greasy that I can't handle it I kind of prefer the Great Value Walmart cheese I think it tastes better and it's cheaper than Tillamook

Do you have any breakfast sandwich recipes that are quick and easy? Make biscuits and freeze them? Fry bacon and freeze it? Make eggs and throw it together with cheese slice? Cereal is just not good tasting to me anymore

Barb Thompson
My mother always taught me to shop sales, clip coupons, compare from store to store And, this worked for me for the first 40 years of my marriage But, now we are retired and just don’t eat as much So, we have to make sure the items we buy will all get used up 5 packs of tortillas might last us too long to make the initial investment not worth it However, love your video and agree 100 with your method for families And, we always still shop sales, clearance, and in season
Comment from : Barb Thompson

Fred Meyer was one of my favorite things about living in Oregon (odd, I know) Another favorite? TILLAMOOK! Fortunately, it's now available at Target and some grocery stores in NE Ohio We have Marc's stores here - and I just bought a ton of produce with clearance stickers (quart of strawberries 50¢) and Beyond Meat sausage for 75 off I don't understand how or why people pay full price for groceries
Comment from : Cynthia Vignos

Cherylann Patterson
I shopped like this when we had kids at home It saved us alot of money over time! Now that there's just 2 of us, I tend to shop on a budget bi-weekly and I set aside so much of that budget for deals or stock up pantry items We generally spend $120 every 2 weeks and I set aside $30 for extra bargains, specials or pantry " stock up" items If I am fortunate and stay under budget, we will treat ourself to eating out one mealbrThanks for the Awesome Video!❤
Comment from : Cherylann Patterson

Jeannette aka Jnett
This is how I shopped for many a moon When the family all lived at home, people did not believe me when they heard what I spent I'm now 74, hubby has passed and my sister lives with me We do even better because we do lighter meals most of the time I still buy and stock my freezer and pantry We usually only get to a store maybe once a month for major stuff and maybe once a month for bread and milk I've just found your channel through Dawn The one thing I did do way back when was only buy when food was on sale I knew almost to the day when something went on sale, I stocked up and it would last until the next time it went on sale I don't think I ever paid full price for my staples etc It can be done and is well worth the effort
Comment from : Jeannette aka Jnett

I have started keeping the bulbs off green onions and putting them in water They regrow I also keep all scraps for stock, freeze leftover foods for another day, buy things on sale and freeze for later, make things such as buttermilk at home, and buy cornish hens instead of chicken I can buy hens usually for a couple of bucks, but when they are on sale I stock up I just bought some for like $1 @frugalfitmom
Comment from : chasity caviness

Rita Dyer
I’m no good at this We have Ingles, Walmart, and Food Lion in our area There’s an Aldi a town over but I try to stay in our little town This digital age of shopping sales has me confused When I used to get the Sunday and Wednesday paper with coupons years ago I did well with shopping I used to spend $25 a week on groceries for a family of 3 and I thought that was good even in the 90s Guess I should put some effort in to figuring it out again I don’t ever know what’s on sale anymore
Comment from : Rita Dyer

Beautiful Day
Yes, you can freeze hard cheese, but just be ready for it to be crumbly upon thawing, and not easy to slice I still do it, but use it differently upon thawing
Comment from : Beautiful Day

Another tip is instead of buying your green yogurt, make it All you need to make it is a spoonful of Greek yogurt and a jug of milk You can use fat free milk, if you’re worried about calories brbrBoil your milk until it starts to boil brbrLet it cool until it is manageably warm to the touchbrbrAdd and mix your spoonful of Greek yogurt I also like to add vanilla to it for flavor brbrLet it rest in your oven, covered, for about 8-10 hours
Comment from : Pope Dilweed

That Italian sausage deal?! Wow!! I personally used to buy bulk, coupon everything and watch sales cycles but since the kids moved out and we travel fulltime in a little camper now, I've had to change things up Now I cook fresh often for saving and health, freeze what I can fit in my tiny freezer, shop clearance and chase Aldi's when we're near one combined with Dollar Tree and Dollar General and supplement with clearance canned food We save a ton, eat only two meals a day, live frugally and have lost weight!😊
