Well the Taylor is no longer a sub $500 guitar more like $699 Still an awesome guitar Comment from : Groovy Moon |

The Yamaha does it for me! I like the nice bright tone! It has I like it the best But no case I wish it had a hard case like the Fender one does Comment from : Angel Martinez |
The fender with the hard case oh man thats such a good deal and sounds amazing, also taylor for the price but a gig bad, its a tough choice Comment from : Omar Gerardo |
If I had to rate them I would go:brbrTaylor - Sounded pretty amazing for a low end Taylor, but I wouldn't expect anything less from them When I heard the first low E I was hooked Great range which is pretty typical for TaylorsbrYamaha - Almost always will take a Yamaha over any other brand when playing lower end modelsbrIbanez - This thing sounded amazing when using the pickups, seemed a bit boring acousticallybrFender - Not terrible, but I would take the Yamaha or the Taylor over it, unless I really needed an AE Might shop around thoughbrEpiphone - Just didn't really like the sound of this one at all Not really my style eitherbrbrbrGreat vid Comment from : El Bee |
Washburn WLO12SE Comment from : Rhigo |
ok this is th second vid i watched you do can you tell me please why the tone changes halfway through the song your playining? I mean its a big deal when your trying to hear how a guitar sounds and the tone changes thatt drastically allbr comparisons are out the window! brthanks Comment from : scottpc1234 |

I let my friend who plays the guitar know I wanted to learn the instrument and she said I had to buy a bnew Taylor/b if I wanted to take it seriously In doing my own research I’m happy to learn about the 12! Ive got an Ibanez acoustic as my first guitar, and I’m thinking of getting something that suits me a little bit more now that I know what I’m doing My mind is kinda already set on that FG830 after playing it in the store, but I have played a Mitchell acoustic that felt really warm and smooth sounding I can’t remember the model but it was like $300- something Comment from : VxM o |
Now we need a revised version for this year Comment from : Tangerine |
I've the Epiphone SJ200 no cutaway, 1980's Yamaha FG450 (my sentimental favourite) & Gretsch Gin Rickey I like them all for different reasons, they're good value well made guitars for the money I've also have the Sigma DM ST it is by a long, long way the best sub $500 / $352 AUD acoustic guitar I have ever owned or played The SJ200 only gets a run occasionally & the Yamaha FG 450 & Gretsch don't get played very much at all since I brought the Sigma I can't heap enough praise on the Sigma DM ST when its got newish strings on it Comment from : 🙊 no name |

What about the Seagull S6? Comment from : DDA |
Looks like you are doing this in your newer videos but it helps a lot to keep the same style or riff consistent when doing a comparison, you had strumming against fingerpicking here and it was hard to compare That said I think the Yamaha and Taylors are the clear standouts I wouldn't recommend Epi, Fender, or Ibanez acoustics to anyone Comment from : Christopher |
Fg830 no1 Comment from : HUQQA BAAZ |
Ehh btw turning is the most important thing can you get the thing to tune up and as you play higher on the neck is it staying in tune You must adjust the truss rod a little But if you ain't in tune nothing sounds good also conditions vary too cold too hot cus sunshine the too much bending while playing It takes time just to get the tuning to all align but once you do everything you play sounds great to the listener Comment from : Specules Gorgoth |
I found something as good as seagul or Martin It's dean Markley sanande advb $300 guitar center Hard to play but if you have strong hands it sounds AMAZING Figured I'd tell you all not all seagul sound great but some sound as good as the best martin for half the price Comment from : Specules Gorgoth |
