I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33 S&P, 33 Total stock, and 33 international I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100 stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore

In fact they despise it (that is not true, of coarse) They and I do love what it can do Some who are rich can be good and some can be destructive This presentation is a straw hoarse to beat on Jesus Christ never said, "you will reap what you sow" Let's get that straight But he did say, and I quote, "How hard is it for the rich to enter the Kingdom of Heaven! Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the Kingdom of Heaven" Make no mistake, this guy is an apologist for the rich My take is that anytime someone has power whether it is economic or political they are at greater risk of abusing it The Lord's Prayer warns "And lead us not into temptation" Again, the risk and probability of obtaining Heaven if rich is astronomical That ain't me being quoted in the Bible that is The Creator of the Universe and of all humanity, Jesus Christ Be generous people, especially if your are wealthy or rich Peace and Love, You All!!!

I started listening to Dave on my drive home from work We had a mortgage, two car loans, one child in college and the other almost there We also had a whole life insurance policy we’d taken out when our first child was born-20 years earlier Dave advised cashing out the life insurance, which we did, and used it to pay off one car loan and most of the second Snowballed both car loan payments into paying off the second car loan As soon as that was done, we took both car payments and put them toward paying off the mortgage By the time our second child was half way thru college we were debt free, and could make sure both our kids graduated with no college debt Thank you, Dave Ramsey!

I don't disagree with the lessons Dave Ramsey teaches I just don't care for the arrogant way in which he teaches it Talking about how many books he sells and how much money he makes off the stupid people of the world Dave has gotten rich because of the common sense beliefs that 98 of the people don't have I've often said that people are born with common sense but my wife and I have realized over the last 40 years that 's not true Several people have taken advantage of this fact but it's not rocket science and I'm a perfect example of it Did it all on my own
