I always try to negotiate the salary Unfortunatly, every interview I have had over the last year their first question is about salary and they will never budge from your low number so I am not going to give my low number and njust say we can discuss it from X

Help! I got nervous on my phone interview and accidentally said I was ok with the minimum pay rate for my level which level 3 My experience is closer to a high level 3 and almost level 4 I could not find the entire pay range online I tried to negotiate when the compensation came and when she mentioned the minimum for my tech level, my brain jumped on it before I could think I didn't know the max pay range, so I had no idea what the middle of the range was which was my target I know I low balled myself because she sounded surprised when I said I was ok with that minimum pay rate The phone interview went great and I am waiting for them to schedule a zoom video call with the management team I would be working with Is it still possible to negotiate a biger rate or did I seal the deal already and pressing further ruin my chances for landing this job? Thanks in advance and also please help 🙏

Note that retirement plans are governed by a plan document They cannot offer employees different vesting schedules; it wouldn’t pass compliance testing and isn’t even an option in the plan document…

NEED ADVICE The range posted on the job was 50-70k Phone screen was told the same range again and they asked my range and I said “75-78k, but i don’t want that number to deter them from continuing me as a candidate” I got an interview with the hiring manager she really loved me and kept saying im a perfect fit Did another 6 seperate interview with the team in 1 day and they all loved me They took me out to lunch after and the hiring manager restated that “you know the range is 50-70k” and i said yes and she said great i just wanted to make sure you knew I got a job offer the next day for 70k so top of their range I want to negotiate 75k but am scared they will recind Should I? The 75k is based on what other companies have offered and on my market research

I recently shared my current salary range with the recruiter I didn't know this but In California, apparently it's against the labor code law 4323 to prompt a candidate for their current/historic pay Therefore, they can't use it to figure out a salary in which he shared 130-140k immediately after However, the job req on LinkedIn says "employer provided" is an average of 161k-210k Of course, top being someone with a law background which I do not have and I take average would be someone with actual experience I would probably say the average is 141-188k according to my city and given I have less experience from most candiates How do you even call out such law violation by the recruiter and maybe a fair entry level offer at 141-145k? I just want to be ready in case I get the job as I finished 2 days of panel interviews 💀😭

Hi! Ive usually never leave comments but I just for you I definitely will What you say it's completely true and you just helped land an other person a job! I just found your channel earlier this week! I had just heard of an career opening near me and have always been interested in knowing and working there I watched so many of your videos and BOOM! Just like that had an offer the same day of my 2nd interview! I was able to ask for just a little bit more than what what they were offering I still chocked up on the money portion of it but it's definitely something I can earn more over time especially the type of place I work for it's not an issue to me On top the hours I work here, I will be making what I made in two wks in 1 so it's in a way double my pay Very excited and grateful for you and the work and content you put out!! Thank you!!

Hi, currently I'm negotiating with a company I'm dissatisfied with how the HR handled my negotiation session I wanted to discuss & clarify some additional benefits But the exec just brushed me off and ended the meeting early Even after he stood me up for 20 minutes Should I directly contact the hiring manager to negotiate salary & the benefits?

To my favorite person in the world LOL thank you for the videos and for how much of a great person you are I wanted to share that after interviewing for 7 months, I finally received an offer for an Hr business partner role at an awesome company The offer was over the phone I asked if there was room for negotiation and she asked me what is my "Happy" number My response was anywhere between 6-13 additional of what they had offered me which I think is very reasonable Only 2 days have gone by but I can't lie, I am a bit nervous hoping they don't rescend I know it is not common but still What are your thoughts?

Thank you so much for all your wisdom I followed your script from my first interview by changing it into what I am passionate about and negotiated a great package settled on 30,000 more than the company was offering me with other benefits that I never knew I could negotiate! Thank you so much! Here to a bright future with six figures May wisdom continue to flow from both of you Love Lioness

Sometimes: But I have little luck with it I am in an industry with very specific requirements so there is a database of who meets those requirements In this database you put your desired salary so recruiters know a number before they even call you This helps to start with a starting offer but it can make it difficult to negotiate because they sometimes feel like that number in the database is set in stone I had to learn to put a higher number so I can stop undervaluing my skills

I’m a recent graduate with a bachelors and have been working since I was 15 I have experience in managerial positions and Fortune 500 companies, I have certifications etc and still only receive offers for 45k How do I know when companies are being ageist and not looking at my years of experience or skill sets How do I combat this in the negotiating process? Also many companies mid interview ask what’s my salary expectations how do I answer this in real time?
