Mike t52
Really love the lessons They are very well presented and have clear points However, as a teacher myself, and I see this on other videos as well, why would you put up confusing graphics that are upside-down and backward to what I see your hand doingbrThank you for doing these very valuable videos

Comment from : Ambrose Harper

Robert Huntington
I sure think a better way to "sell" us on taking timevto watch this video or choose it over other tutorials would be to start with some demos of what this lesson wiil for the student as far as sound Will it appeal to me? The old WIFME principle What's In It For Me? I dont think ive ever heard an improvised so that moved me, so im a tough sell
Comment from : Robert Huntington

Bill Place

John Schuur
That’s a great tip start the solo in the 4th position of the pentatonic when you’re in a minor chord as you’ve shown in the vid ! I often do this while jamming because the notes of the scale are already under the fingers so it’s easy to pick it up from there
Comment from : John Schuur

Richard A
So many videos that show what the scales and positions are But you're the only one that shows us helpful "tips and tricks" that can be put it into practise Thank you for another great vid 🙏

Rusty L
I know the boxes and can play them easily But when improvising, I can't make my mind focus on boxes Never have been able to I know where my root notes are, my intervals, and I just play from there, in an appropriate mode for what I want to do Major, minor, Dorain or Mixo, are generally all I ever use I think not seeing the boxes has been a blessing for me Seeing roots everywhere on the fretboard and the intervals means I can move all around sonically and not be "boxed in" LOL Great lesson for the 98 that use the boxes I always enjoy your lessons and how you present them
Comment from : Rusty L

Have been following you a few weeks now, learning so much! Thanks for the videosbrbrDo you have any playlist or courses where we can follow a good progression on what to learn first chronologically? brbrI am finding your teaching style and examples really good so would like to study more, but sometimes i get off track because of the different good videos you have and immediately want to check it out and practice! Cheers!

Les OConnor Jr
Excellent! I've got the 5 positions memorized but I've always had trouble connecting & moving back/forth between them unless I start at the top (bottom) each timewill definitely start using the middle strings (d, g) to slide between them and remember the root noteslove your tips/tricks brother, they're exactly what I need! Blessings! 🙂
