I had a double major in world history and English, two liberal arts degrees often called useless, came out of school making 74k Nowadays I make around 160k a year brbrAlso I don’t think you understand PhDs PhDs are SUPPOSED to be niche, in fact your more likely to get accepted into graduate school when you have expertises in a particular niche field or subject I got into graduate school because I expressed my unique interest and specialty in early Victorian literature and poetry, and I started teaching that And quite frankly, any PhD is a money-maker

I think most people should not go to college College is becoming overrated in the sense that it preys on young people to go in thousands of dollars of debt when those young people are still figuring out what they want to do in lifebrbrTrade schools are much much cheaper and pay much higher if all your looking for is a good paying job out of school I’ve had friends who start working as electricians and construction straight out of high school and have making $80k+ salaries since they were 20 to 21 years of age with $0 debt!

I have to get my master's degree in order to be a therapist Some degrees dont have a clear path, but if you understand what you need to know in order to have the desired career it's not a waste brbrI would say have some idea of what you want to do before you go to college dont just go to college to figure it out It's okay to take a break or volunteer to find your passions if you're not in it for the salary lol
