If one is a carrier of Helicobacter Pylory! br(And about half the world IS) This insidious disease robs the body of vitamin C, vitamin B12 and iron Vitamin C helps with iron absorption, but most all other vitamins are also in deficiency So, taking a HIGH quality multivitamin is essential for good healthbrCheers

For years I have been taking natural vitamin E, d-alpha tocopherol 400 IU and a base of mixed tocopherols So what is wrong with that? Also synthetic pure ascorbic acid does not have nearly the same biological activity as naturally occurring vitamin C complex with bioflavonoids This is why I am taking standardized acerola extract capsules instead

I disagree about not taking multi-vitamins based off how most people eat If you have extra you’ll pee it out brBut if not, you’ll spend a lot more money in health care costs trying to figure out what’s wrong with you if you’re NOT getting a bare minimum level of a vitamin or nutrient brObviously best is to get it through your food/diet but a multi is a insurance policy that you’re hitting a minimum threshold brNow if you eat a lot of fortified foods than it might be redundant
