The government needs to get serious about recycling and just make the deposit law cover all fifty states, 5 cents a can and 10 cents a bottle, that would send a lot more to the recycler and keep them out of the landfills but as long as they pay such small amounts like 40 cents a pound for cans nobody is hardly going to recycle themThe deposit law is why so many get turned in around states like Michigan and New York, I turn in around 12,000 cans a month here in Ohio and it does not pay much at all but I still do it for the environment and exercise

Thanks for showing us how it works BTW, this is off topic, but since you mentioned it, housewives have a lot to do, especially if they have kids Their job never ends It's not like a 9-5 job where you can leave at the end of the day If more people would appreciate the work that housewives do, we wouldn't be in this situation in the West where our birth rates are below what's needed to maintain our populations because women are out in the workforce doing the traditional role of men instead of the traditional role of women Both roles are important and needed to sustain a population, unless you want your population to go extinct and be replaced by outsiders, which is what is being engineered by our overlords

I meant to add one more thing if I had my own man's man's house with a man's name garage I'll be definitely saving tons of cans but I don't have my own place I'm still in the apartment life wanting to get a man's man's house with a man's man garage so I can definitely say the planet one day at a time

I love recycling bottles and cans, especially because they just raised the bottle deposit charge here in Oregon from 5 cents to 10 so I can make $15 a day by taking 30 minutes out of my life to drive to the nearest grocery store lol
