On a second note if you happen to come across one that's not incredibly expensive I am looking for a 1915 $5 eagle if it was in a bezel when you got it that's great if it wasn't but it looks like one that should be in a bezel I'll definitely take it Comment from : Brandon Ragsdale |

Good Morning Daniel!!🍵 When it comes to coins, cleanliness is NOT next to godliness!!!!!!!!!! Comment from : George Matthews |

As long as the $20 liberties are real, you still have close to an ounce of gold in each coin so it’s not like they don’t have bullion value even though their numismatic collectibility had been somewhat compromised Coins that have been professionally restored don’t get labeled as cleaned even though they were That part of the hobby has always bothered me You can have a coin whose details are solid , no signs of wear, but if the coin got dipped for whatever reason it gets labeled as cleaned if not done by one of the professional coin grading services That’s really being nit picky But it is what is and perhaps it’s a way of getting people to buy slabbed coin’s instead of raw coins You hate to see a beautiful $20 gold liberty coin from the 1800”s being sold only for bullion because it might have been dipped 20 years ago Comment from : James Robinson |
