Hey I’ve found a 1890 CC Morgan with the UNC Cleaned grade… based on what the red and blue books price I think I’m going to initially offer 160 cash Or potentially offer some trade value I defiantly want a CC morgan I’ve got 34 Morgan’s no CC’s and think this is a opportunity to get a rare Morgan CC granted with the clean grade at a decent price Any advice I would be grateful Also in your option is the price on peace dollars with mintage under 2 million going to rise I personally think they are undervalued Like the 1927 s which mintage is only 866,000 and AU is only 75… the 1934 is under 1 million and AU is only 60… I know mainline collecting is MS 65 up, but I think getting a deal on low mint peace dollars in even AU condition could be a great investment However would like to hear any thoughts on this

I have a 1904 dime very similar to the one you showed It looks almost uncirculated I took it to a local coin shop and the gentleman offered me face value for it, so sad 😢

Great Video Daniel, I have knowingly purchased cleaned coins, "Unc Details" due to the fact that an uncirculated coin "uncleaned" are sometimes just to high in price I wanted to add them to my collection and they were bought at a discounted price Very Beautiful too I don't really see them as "Problem coins" I can always sell them at the lower price I bought them for These are all NGC, PCGS, coins Thanks Much Daniel, Our Teacher and mentor!!!! Basically one point in your presentation you are making is that any coin encountered with multi- hairline scratches is most likely cleaned, even if purchased at a well reputed coin shop That description pertains to most of my Morgan Silver Dollar collection

I won't buy cleaned or raw coins I got burnt many times when I first started out because I didn't know what to look for What I don't understand is why you buy them since they are harder too sell and tend to be sold for a loss? Simple fix would be too stop buying them JMO

you have turned me off of ever submitting a coin unless it is a proof in container Every circulated coin could be called cleaned or tooled by normal wear, the better way to do it would to put uncleaned on the ones that were not cleaned

I have collected many cleaned coins over the years and have always discussed the issue with those I have sold them to If both of us walked away happy that was a good sale It pays to be upfront What I have noticed however is the grading services have hunkered down when it comes to cleaned coinsThe question begsHow severe is the cleaning and why cannot they offer a grade regardless of the cleaning? This Details label is not acceptable in my view however that is the reality of the business It's disheartening when a coin comes back in a body bag as altered surface with no explanation Wouldn't be so bad if they discounted the cost of that particular coin Thanks as always for your insight

Daniel, I wrote to you about my Uncles 1955 double die While I haven't located it in his room yet, I did find a boat load of wheat cents It appears he had a bad habit of using a pencil eraser to see the date better If the DD is like that, will they not grade it? I will send you pics first
