So I randomly stumbled upon this, and after seeing the gunk come out and reading the comments here, I ended up pulling out a pair of tweezers i had and used them to clean the port on my phone So much pocket fuzz and other stuff came out to the point that i thought it would never end But the final result is that now my charging cable actually plugs in all the way again and doesn't have to rest in a specific orientation to work Thank you for sharing this video and showing how even a seemingly small amount of maintenance can make a huge difference
