My 1994 Chevy K1500 57 extended cab 4x4 has 300,000 miles and still running strong Doesn't burn a drop of oil and is even still on the original ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, CV joints, u joints, etc And it's even lifted with larger tires! The only major repair I've done was a tranny rebuild at 250,000 And mine is also the heavy half with the semi-floating (3/4-ton) 6-lug 14-Bolt rear axle

Oh yeah, get a Ford triten v8, so you can replace the exhaust manifolds and ball joints every couple years, I have a 88 Chevy , 350 still working like crazy! 396,000 miles on it and a 2009 Silverado with 364,000 miles on it! I would drive either one across the country in a minute

I think the new hybrid engines on the 2024 Toyota Trailhunter Tacos and or hybrid tundra are going to be great I bought a used rock warrior and it’s serving me well I go to the dealer for service and have had better experiences than with my old VW that no one’s wants to work on including the dealership
