I can definitely Vouch for the f150! I have an 08 ! With 263 thousand miles! On the original motor and trany! Truck still runs and drives like its new ! Ac , heat ! Locks windows ! Everything works just like it did the day it rolled off the assembly line

Have a 2005 frontier V6 Nismo (yes I need the 4wd i live in the high Rockies) and it’s got 196k on it, changed the radiator out a long time ago and the only other issue has been radiator clutch fan going out + suspension getting clapped out

Bought a 2013 Frontier new when i was looking to upgrade my '01 Tacoma for something woth more moden features Was dead set on getting another Taco but when i could get the Nissan new for less than a 4 year old Toyota cost at the time i took a chance and it has paid off The Nissan has been a great truck, and it is a proper body on frame truck with fully boxed frame so it is very rugged and feels as solid today as it did 10 years ago Not that Tacoma's aren't also great trucks, i had one and know they are, but you really couldn't beat price difference for in my experience a truck that is every but as good Another point worth mentioning is Nissan puts traditional automatic transmissions in their trucks, not the CVT garbage they put in all their cars

I’m pissed off, I bought my 4runner in the summer of 2012 for just under 35 grand, now the same 4runner is 35 grand used with 80,000 miles and cloth seats (I have leather seats), yet I see brand new Toyotas for 45,000, it is very confusing, and the principal is what pisses me off, these trucks are a rip off 😢

There’s pros and cons for all tucks brTacoma - back seats suck if you have a family brFrontier same as the Tacoma brTundra - awful gas brFord ram and Chevy - break brSo what ever you get there will be some negative for any vehicle

As a tow truck operator I would put the ford at 5th As a tow truck operator I do recommend the Toyotas, Chev/GMC, (avoid the 48 unless you just want a truck to say you have a truck or only hauling a lawn mower) Anything beyond that its your money you are throwing away

The old tokoma is America's answer to the old Toyota Hilux, if you want a Ute but not a standard height V8 Ute you just get the flatbed models with upgradable sides to the truckbed

V8 Australian power performance utes are technically NASCAR trucks so they control drag better and are not high up off the ground so you can load a atv in the bed for example and you get a high performance truck with the fun of a racecar and can load stuff in easily without half the effort, it's strange how it's always America saying bigger is better, but the smaller sized to extreme power ratio is off the chart in the V8 utes compared to the us preferred truck you can't fill a Nissan truckbed by yourself in double the time of a Ute by hand due to the height requiring more energy and leverage and repeatition of scooping earth or rocks into the back

I think you should have also added that buying a 2004-2008 Ford F150 with the 3 valve 54 would be huge mistake because they are piles Far too many problems even with proper maintenance, and very expensive to work on

My brother has a 2019 Forf f150 had to replace the transfer case and the rear differential $15,000 Scotty has changed his story so many times he's beginning to sound like Dr Fauci The best vehicles are who ever pays the most to say they're the best! brAs a retired military motor sergeant and mechanic the best truck I've ever had and still have is a Chevy 2500 67 duramax diesel 280,000 basic maintenance looks and runs like new! Second best is my 2019 Ram 1500 57 30,000 miles no problems looks and runs like new My aviation battalion motor pool has serviced and operated about every kind of truck on the planet with about every kind of engine on the planet and I'll take my 2006 duramax over any other diesel or gas engine

Drove a 99 Frontier from 2007 to 2017 had 114000 miles on it when I got it best vehicle I ever had in my life til it got to 244000 miles got my dream car a T top Firebird that's still 20 years old, but I'm seriously thinking of another frontier made after 2017 Just a beautiful pickup, I love seeing the entire hood through the windshield

Anything besides domestic is the best use truck I’ve tried to love these sorry lazy American work labor cars and it just falls apart Went back to a tundra with 250k miles and not a single thing wrong The avalanche at 150k miles and I already spent $4k in repairs within a 1yr! My fords was problems after problems!
