Why would any American buy anything made in China? I hear of all these so-called “Patriots” but yet they’re essentially supplying the enemy Do Americans know that China is a Communist country? And China would love to take over our Republic? I took an oath to uphold the Constitution and that includes not knowingly giving comfort and aid to the enemy I don’t want to hear of Americans complaining when our country is overthrown by these miscreates Comment from : Privatepilot |

"There marketing department showed a lot of self control" Cracked me up Comment from : Thomas Copeland |
The fact that you promote a RSC is crazy The entire reason for a safe is your for security to protect your valuables Those big box stores safes are easily cut into with a Sawzall As for the fire protect most gun safes and vaults will still have a lot of damage in a fire Fires are extremely hot, far beyond what most safes are rated for Comment from : Piney Prepper |
I'd argue that pretty much any safe is a good bet as long as it has the space you need, and is secured in such a way as to not allow a thief the proper leverage to work it open All the safe cracking videos you see are done with complete, uninhibited 360 access Bolt that sucker into a concrete floor and bolt it into the wall, and it will take WAY to much effort and time to spring Comment from : David Driscoll |

Perfect Comment from : Ирина Клименко |

not sure why the dimensions are stating its 22 1/4 deep when the one i have is actually 20 1/4 deep, if they are adding the handle that seems like a false representation of the dimensions, i have a winchester that says 20 deep and its 20 deep Comment from : John H |

😂😂 Everytime I hear ur voice I see that dammm bear 😂😂😂 Comment from : Diy type of guy |

Just speaking for myself Seems like most things from Harbor Freight is very low poor quality Not to mention probably 99 of it comes from China or another country brSeems like most of these safes, yes many of them are fire resistance to some point which is good I guess, but they are mainly designed to keep out little kids or unwanted guest and or keep out certain family members that might go to your house, which you probably don't want, during the holidays or when ever br(1) Think best 2 things is house alarm that alerts local police station, hopefully cops will do their job and go there if needed (2) And other one is a walk in safe with a real bank vault door like banks and rich wealthy people like Trump, pro atheletes, doctors etc have on it is the best, which most average people cannot afford, or don't want or cannot afford take a loan out to build one etc brBut I did price the custom bank vault doors out to build a bank custom made safe door vault myself, and during that time they were around $8,00000 to $10,00000 just for the bank vault door as the starting point Not unless you just have a common steel door on it with just like a pad lock or somekind of a door lock on it But most criminals probably can get through that That does not include prices on poured cement or cylinder block walls etcaround it, electrical or style you want around or inside the safe thats probably is in a basement, if your not in a southern state etc Comment from : AirborneSoldier America |

So harbor freight had it on sale yesterday for $487 for memorial day one day only Regular price $649 25 offI looked all over AZ & LV no one had it except one dealer in LV he had one left last one drove 3 hrs to get it Great safe I bought it because my buddy's house got broken into and they tried and tried to get into it prying the door all over couldn't get in They did get into his liberty safe was a smaller version of this one so I figured for the price and proven hard to crack I bought itgreat video too! |
I bought a similar cannon 30 gun safe from Academy on sale for $599 Its as big or bigger than the harbour freight safe I got it in and out of my Lexus rx-350 I took it out by myself and I'm 62 Its clearly an RSC, not a safe! Comment from : John Marcus |
I periodically watch den of tools It's finally nice to see the voice behind the bear! Comment from : John Marcus |
I purchased my harbor freight gun cabinet about 6-7 years ago for $299 with the coupon I am so satisfied I can't foresee anyone being able to easily break into it since it has bolts all the way around the door I also have it bolted to the wall and floor The dirty Little secret on the expensive fireproof safes are they can be breached through the side with a cutting tool in 15 minutes the fireproofing in a hot fire your guns will still be charred So a harbor freight gun cabinet is all I need I also wanted a small gun cabinet for my closet so I can have my shotgun nearby in the bedroom I purchased a barskacombo biometric fingerprint/ and keypad 3 rifle cabinet again I don't foresee anyone being able to easily break into it especially with the house alarm wailing Comment from : Glen M |
Wait so you're talking me harbor freight actually sent you out the safe? I've been trying to get harbor freight to send me stuff out for a wile and I can't get ahold of anyone brbrWho's your connect?! Comment from : Buddys DIY |

Not a real safe There just glorified lockers where a combination lock Comment from : Benjimen Franklin |
I have it set up where my safe door can stop a smaller caliber round when I am behind it Giving me a good layer of protection and access to all my guns and ammo Comment from : Johnny BB Gunner |
Bear with us😆😂 Comment from : samuel navarro |
Safes with key lock over ride completely defeat the purpose, anyone who can pick a lock can pick the safe, it’s no more secure than a lock box Comment from : cplinstructor |
A Miata is a very practical daily car 😎 Love your very informative videos 🤘🏻 Comment from : Rōnin Virtues |
Why is bear using a human filter? Comment from : K H |
Where is the Bear 🐻 ???br😉😉😉br🤣🤣🤣 Comment from : STARFLEET COMMAND |

Any of those things with an electronic lock that has a key bypass are not going to keep a teenager out Bosnian Bill just did a review on a safe/RSC from Stealth that had a really good Sargent and Greenleaf lock on it with no wafer or tubular lock bypass, and if I recall correctly it was cheaper than this onebrbrI still love my Stealth box with the simplex lock on it 1/8" steel body, 3/16" on the lid, with anti-drill plates and no stinking batteries Comment from : Paul Ste Marie |

The best security happens in layers Alarms cameras anything that increases the time it takes to acheive a clean theft The $4000 safes can be stolen and opened at a different location, so difficulty and time to a accomplish is the key to security Comment from : UFO Dad |
Bjs 24 Gun safe is $59999 year round and 3 weeks ago was on sale for $49999 wwwbjscom/product/wasatch-24-gun-fire-and-waterproof-safe-with-electronic-lock/3000000000001989793 Comment from : Pedro Hernandez |

You laugh about your bad joke regarding the Miata out back Several years ago I gave away a large number of bricks left over from a remodel project Enough to fill a 5 x 8 trailer 12 inches high The guy show up in a Honda Element with a 5 x 10 utility trailer to haul them approximately 40 miles Trailer tires had to be aired up No side boards for the trailer Some folks have never dealt with reality of physics or save motoring! Comment from : Skip Hill |
Obviously any safe is better than no safe But a safe is one of those “buy the best you can afford” kinda items Also seems no matter how big you buy, you’ll need another Comment from : Indy |
Great vid was waiting to see how the interior was payed out Thanks Jeff I'm sold Comment from : superdave103harley |
I didn't think you guy's over there in America used gun safes lolbrHi from Australia brWe have to store all firearms in safes and the police have records on where all guns are stored Comment from : Shane Rorko |
I started with a 10 gun from Dicks before they went to the dark side I was able to manage that one myself to get it in the house but it only took me a couple of years to out grow it I went Liberty for a 25 gun and had it delivered Two bear sized guys got it in with a heavy duty hydraulic lift and slip sticks but it wasn’t easy The Liberty is built a lot better than the Dicks which is made of Chineseium That one now is filled with my reloading supplies You need room for those long range paper punchers Comment from : scottyV1000 |
No desiccant or drying thingee in your safe? Just curious, I live in a humid area so I'm drying that damn thing every month Comment from : Ray W |
A basement living space can be a good spot for a safe If you do decide the basement is your preferred location, I do recommend carefully moving the safe into the basement The safe rapidly self-locating to a lower level usually produces undesirable side effects Comment from : Sylvan dB |
All of these crappy safes come out of the same factory made of Chinesium Thank you for calling them "residential security containers" since a true gun safe will cost five times the price Looks like a great bargain for most homeowners Comment from : John E |
Tell me that this is NOT the house to attempt a B&E at without telling me this is NOT the house to attempt a B&E atlol Comment from : JJ |
But for 599 you can spend a few more bucks and snag a name brand safe If you catch them at the right time Comment from : Justin Spinnie |
Please be cautions with gun safes I bought one from Costco for my daughter's family They had a house fire The gasket failed and smoke got inside and ruined many of the items Had I known I would have known better I was thinking general safety and not of fire A bad gasket can cost you the contents in a fire Do your research carefully Don't make the mistake I made Had I known, and made sure of the fire gasket material, they would not have lost so many valuable family heirlooms Comment from : Larry Hansen |
I like my stack-on locking cabinet I think they're $250 or so No fire rating obviously but it keeps the kids out Comment from : CraigyMonster |
That is not a 24 gun safe unless they are all handguns I have a Stack-On of just about the same size and it holds 12 long armsbarely Comment from : Win52D |
Maybe 16 gun, not 24 gun especially if they are scoped or mil surps with straight bolt handles Comment from : David Jernigan |
I figure I could fit at LEAST a hundred lady-Derringers in there Comment from : Insidious DrNine |

I just can't bring myself to trust electronic locks on a safeand have a bypass keytoo insecure electronics failkey locks are easily pickable My safe is old school strictly mechanical combination Comment from : Light Weight |
I bought a gun cabinet at Rural King, went to pick it up and they loaded a 24-gun safe in the back of my truck Didn't realize it until we got home Comment from : Kirk Fickert |
Nice vid!!!!!!!!!!!! Comment from : THROTTLE POWER |
These honestly should not be called Gun Safes but rather "Gun Cabinets" Comment from : Hawkins2769 |
I thought Big R stores became the now defunct Stock & Field Comment from : Bob Hylka |
Will be watching your Friday Parade! Jeff Don't forget some shade on ur float plus Sunscreen & water for the family ALSO new safe looks perfect for your new yard sale "size 12 food retrieval tool" !👍😁 Comment from : R Rich |
A lot of use just have safes to keep little fingers out We don't need fire or theft protection I'm glad you mentioned that subject👍 Comment from : SVTBansheeman |
Gun safes are way to important to me I will own nothing but Liberty safes forward Comment from : Scott Pysher |
Great to see this I was so close to buying from SecureIt but have ultimately decided to get a more traditional safe I need one by the time the paperwork comes back for my OSS silencer (HXQD556) 3 months and 20 days into my wait… but who’s counting? I have never heard of those fire bags Definitely looking into that, as I certainly don’t trust the fire ratings I’d imagine that in all honesty you can get just about the same effectiveness as a more expensive safe if you just take a cheaper one and make sure to bolt it down real well but I’m digging the ones you’ve shown here Actually very reasonable prices and I also added the motion lights to the inside of my current one Comment from : Prepper POV |
Just bolting it to a plywood floor is not secure enough Uncle had his ripped out through window by someone with a truck Use some sort of metal attachment Comment from : Fang Of Truth |
Thanks for the information Comment from : David Frazer |
Bought one of their smaller safes to keep my silver bars and nazi gold in Comment from : PistonHonda87 |
