Stocked gift closet, love it Never thought to do a whole closet, definitely would be better than my 2-4 totes, especially since now I have 5 kids instead of the 3 I actually raised (gained currently a 26 yr old and a 12 yr old through marriage almost 5 yrs ago) plus 4 daughter/son n laws and 5 grand babies with a 6th being worked on! I took to shopping clearance/back to school/after holiday sales when my kids was real young, doing so took the stress of gift giving and most of all Christmas shopping out if the equation cause I always was fully sticked on gifts for my kids, parents, sibblings and their families too and all at dirt cheap prices!!! Couple of yrs I was even able to fully provide Christmas for my little sisters 3 girls while she was going through some very hard times Due to the grabbing items at lowest prices and throwing into my bins that I kept locks on I was able to do these things and they never put a stress on me to do so, as I too was a single mother of 3

I do the whole place an item in your Amazon cart and walk away, usually I do not get it Plus me and my husband share the cart so he sees my desires which gives him christmas gift ideas that he uses to get my gifts and passes on the info to my grown children (grown kids also has my password to my Amazon acct and they check it out too for gift ideas 😉! Plus I do the same thing when in store shopping Add a wanted item to the cart, 3/4 time it never leaves the store with me 😂

I'm really interested in selling half my clothes because I go from work scrub clothes and pj's mostly I think I wear no more than 3 to 4 casual shirts a week to either an appointment or going out shopping If I'm not leaving the house I'm not getting going to doll up Unless I'm going on vacation I wear 6-7 different outfits in a weekbrI agree with the gift ideas I started getting stuff my parents either use or give them a Christmas card saying I have plans for us too here is i__/i for us to do together So much more fun that way

I want to switch to mint mobile because i currently pay $87 a month for two lines of unlimited but id have to come up with a decent chunk to start two lines for the first three months and id have to get our phones unlocked because for some reason boost auto locks their phones even though we own the phone outright I cant afford any activation fees or new phones XD may have to stick with current plan and save up to prepare for switching

I work in insurance and I'm not certain how it is in the US, but where I work in Canada, if someone comes to me saying they found a cheaper rate and I've requoted their stuff with all our markets, we are not able to price match I'm a broker and the company sets the rates Just wanted to let you know because people call all the time thinking we can price match

My son and I shop at dollar tree and travel on foot to get to and from We also shop at the commissary where we save by already paying less for items and no added tax on anything and we travel by city transit bus to and from I pay half fare because of my age :) When we get together in the kitchen, we cook enough to last us for a couple extra days for lunches and dinners for both of us I very seldom find anything that is readymade plant based, so I make a lot of my own foods, including my own "ground meat" He still has his meals where he eats his meat and cheese We are currently saving up to make a move from Virginia to Oklahoma We are also looking for a moving company to help us get there because neither of us drives We do have family in Oklahoma helping us find a place that is within our means Thank you for all your ideas that are really helpful

I'm proud to say that I already do so many of these things My kids and I really struggled after my divorce and I still come from that place of lack A few of my hacks:br#1: Make sloppy joes Buy buns from the day-old bakery rack, and ground meat (I like bison) on it's last sell-by date Leftover sloppy joe can be made into spaghetti sauce, chili, etc br#2: Save your laundry water in the utility tub to reuse I sync hot, bleachy wash with days I mop my kitchen and bathroom floorsbr#3: buy extension cords after Christmas at 50 off

THANK YOU FOR SHOUTING OUT INTERLIBRARY LOANS!!!! i work in a library and you can get literally anything through ILL you could cancel all streaming services and just watch your favorite shows for free through the library! it’s amazing! and our library even has apps where you can download shows and movies straight to a phone or smart tv if you can’t play dvds also, check the library for fun and free events our library has a schedule of events going two months out and there’s something free going on almost every single day, you don’t even have to have a card to participate seriously, especially in the summer we have so much stuff going on, movies, crafts, games, the list is truly endless love your local library!!!

When someone gives me a gift, I save the bag to use in the future, we reuse the same gift bags over and over If you pay for gift wrapping when you buy something on Amazon, they give you a nice reusable bag and I've used them again dozens of times, totally worth the $5-$8 bucks

Be very careful at Walmart because the price is listed on the Shelf may not be the price that they bring it up for at the register I have even had to walk all the way to the far reaches of the corner of the store to take a picture of the product I was buying and to bring it back to the register to show them that they were overcharging Me by $5 on some bedding I thought there was very poor customer service on their part but it was worth it to me to save the money and now I watch every single item that's being scanned to make sure that I'm not being overcharged at Walmart
