I would add the following:brTellico Plains (foothills of smokies and close to water) brDunlap (tucked away in a massive valley) brWinchester (next to a nice lake) brHampshire and Santa Fe (nestled along the Natchez Trace) brOakdale (nice little river running through town) brDandridge (close to nice lake) brPelham (foothills are beautiful here) brbrI’ve been all over the state It’s the most beautifully diverse state in the entire country

Really enjoyed your video! I grew up in NE TN and I would like to say that if I were to ever move back to that part of the state, I would easily move to Jonesborough Mountain City is very beautiful, but it is also very remote just because of the mountain roads you have to take anywhere Jonesborough is the oldest European settled community in TN and there's maybe 5,000 people You are close to Johnson City which has the area's largest hospital and the area's only level 1 trauma If you are a parent, the Niswonger Children's Hospital is right next to the JC Medical Center Jonesborough's downtown is absolutley beautiful and well kept simply due the town's history People do like to visit, but it isn't a tourist trap in any sense I love that little community

I live in Byrdstown Whoever did this video needs to redo it There is no railroad,the town is extremely busy in the summer,full of out of towners The lake is full of rude people, in the summer,who throw out their garbage on the highways and lake I can't wait till they put the 50 horse power restriction on the lake That will get rid of a lot of the out of town jerks

MARYVILLE TN #1 You have a small Pleasantville town of all cultures and 30 mins to1 hr away from everything Cades Cove, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, UT Hospital, UT College No homeless no crime Cheap good food and Major airport 15 mins away Amazon building and ALOT of jobs in Alcoa and Knoxville right next to Maryville YOu over looked this gem If you want the country they have that in Blount County next to Maryville also

My husband's family is from Waynesboro and Collinwood, Collinwood is definitely prettier The main thing I've learned about driving here in Tennessee is to watch out for deer They aren't the brightest animals, and will run towards your car when you drive by them There are so many here too! As far as internet, it's pretty bad One family member got the Elon Musk internet for RV's ( you can bolt it to a pole in your yard or on the house), it seems to work fairly well so far I can't believe how expensive it is to live in a small town now, it used to be really cheap and you'd get land of you wanted that Now it seems to be an influx of people ( a lot from California) moving here I hope they don't ruin it Great video!

as someone who lived in Byrdstown for about 25 years i'm shocked that it ranked #1 on the list not that it's a BAD area but it's kinda not a place to move to unless as you said you're retired or you work relatively close by(most business is w/n an hour drive to the south) the only issues you have there is getting snowed in as the only way out of the county is either up thru kentucky OR across the new Dale Hallow Bridge down a steep hill both ways it is a great place to RETIRE though

Grew up in Manchester, TN I guess it's too big to be in this list I live in Louisville, KY now, but would love to move back to the Manchester/Tullahoma area There are three great lakes to fish and boat in (Wood Resevoir, Normandy Lake, and Tims Ford Lake), all within 30 minutes

Should’ve told the folks there’s a state prison located in Mountain City TN Northeast Correctional and like most of the state prisons here in TN, it’s likely the number one place for employment for the locals Most prisons in TN (And probably most states) are located in or very near a small rural town
