Great video, some beautiful cars! As someone not familiar to the Porsche world (and yes I realize this is probably an ignorant comment to a Porsche owner), putting up the year of these cars as you’re speaking about them might be helpful

I heard those 996 and 997 are just liabilities and the bore scoring and ims bearing issues make them horrible cars to own if you choose to keep them long term

996 rightfully starting to move up lots of owners lists its been considered a "great car at a great price", but I think the realization is its simply a great car period, less to do with the attractive prices Definitely, soon to be very desirable classics

Happy New Year Satch I have a similar Porsche garage stable to you and ownership experience 2006 997 C4S I have owned 14 years now, 2008 987 Cayman S, 2008 987 Boxster S and 2013 958 Cayenne S Previous cars were a 986 Boxster with 34 liter engine conversion I owned for 20 years and 955 Cayenne S I owned for 10 For many of the same reasons you mentioned I have decided to stick with the older models I have driven the newer models and walked away thinking they did not offer me the excitement boost that justified the price increase or trade in loss That's just a testimony to how Porsche's have always been so good and even their older models still offer a lot of excitement and driver satisfaction Glad to see the 997 still at the top of your list!

in april 2021 I was about to buy a 9912 carrera, but I was waiting, waiting and waiting In Mai the car was gone It was a 2017, 55000 km on it, first hand for 68000 Euros In December 2022 that car is about 90k to a 100kbrAs I work at Porsche and get 25 off on new cars I can buy a brand new 992 Carrera for around 100k which is a little more extensive, if at all, than a 9912 2017 with 75000km on itwhat a world we are living in

Always, loved your yellow 911 of all your Porsches, and second for me is the blue 987 but that is because I have a white 987 Never sell the yellow 911, you will regret it, and at least one viewer will be heartbroken, unless you sell it to me of course An air-cooled Porsche would be great to see on your channel Have a great Christmas and a brilliant New Year

I've only ever had just 3 911's Two long hood cars back in the day, and my current '06 C2 I love the '06! Drives beautifully, low maintenance and reliable, and if you drive smart - good mpg's I agree with your #1 wholeheartedly! Thanks for your great videos! -Tom

Hey Satch I have a 9961(White) and 9971 2S(in Speed Yellow) Your top 2 pick so I would have to agree I have had 4 Porsches including a 1986 carrera and somehow my 996 is my favourite
