I bought my home January 2021 and it’s gone up 25 since I bought it (based on Zestimate) I have a low interest rate 225 but pay $300 for PMI Would love to lose the PMI to either lower my payment or put more towards the principal but I’m not sure I can get a better deal since my rate is so low 😭

I had a coworker tell me that he pays his house off in 5 years by making the same high payment but refinancing every year… that if his payment is $1k he keeps making that amount but when he goes to refinance each year, more of the payment gets put to the principal and after so many refinances the house gets paid off that way

When you refinance your mortgage on conventional loan what happens to the equity in the house? I asked the lender and they danced around the questions I asked Do you have a good reference to a standard contract to compare my current one too? I feel very confused vs comfortable I would like a professional or lawyer to help look it over for peace of mind Sorry learning the ropes again things have changed since I had done this Any advice or references or people to call etc would be amazing if possible Thank you so much I loved the video very straight forward and clear :)

Hello! I closed on a new build home with a 9 downpayment about 5 mo ago at a 325 rate I used the lender associated with the builder and they waved all closing costs According to zillow (I know I should take it with a grain of salt) but it has appreciated 13 380k was cost if home and zillow says its 430k now I was told I can potentially get rid of the PMI if I do a refi and the house really appreciated this much? Im also ok with putting in a lump sum to push it to 20 equity if the appreciation is close but not high enough Should i do it? Is there a good chance the original lender would cover closing costs again? Thank you!!!
