Already I can see one problem with your style gaming on this case you're not providing the services first for full coverage in the city you're just putting it in places you think might need the coverage but in reality you have to cover the whole entire city I think this is what different about City skyline and SimCity is the service coverage

The industrial zoning is really the most annoying thing in this game because sometimes it fills the spaces with lots that don't do anything and don't even generate money or jobs

From memory I’m pretty sure you don’t need anywhere near the amount of commercial zoning you’ve got They all just crumble from lack of goods or customers Honestly half what you’ve got now would probs be sufficient Also with density, when you’re zoning on streets there is a line a little bit back from the main ‘bold’ zoning colour which shows how much room is needed for buildings to upgrade to the corresponding density I think it’s just a case that some of your streets are too tightly packed together and so there’s not enough room for most to upgrade Absolutely loving this trip down memory lane though, fun to see you relearning so hopefully this is helpful!

One of the best things in Sim City is the ability to upgrade your city Hall, power facilities/police station/fire station etc yourself, that feature would be good in cities skylines after placing them…
