It’s awesome that you are playing this game I do really like cities skylines however, whenever I play it I feel like that I pretty much spend my entire focus on transportation whereas SimCity feels a little bit more dynamic I hope that someday we get a simulator that responds dynamically to our choices That, instead of seeing pop-ups for crime, heavy areas, we see indications in the city like dilapidated buildings body outlines stuff like that SimCity four had a little bit of that That would be nice to have a simulator that’s more alive Plus it would be really cool to see architectural changes over time So at a glance you could see which parts of the city were older than other parts

To use the spaces more efficient, don't zone all around the block, look at the second line that tells you how much space a high rise building needs and only zone on 1 side or 2 sides opposite to each other brbrAlso increase the capacity on your clinics, they don't need more ambulances, they need more patients rooms brbrYou can also edit each park to pack them closer

I ended up buying this for $750 and playing it all day because of your videos I remember this game when it came out because I felt really bad convincing a bunch of friends to get it, and it was such a disappointment at the time But playing multiple regions by yourself is pretty fun and rewarding - especially for that pricebrbrQuick question for anyone playing the EA download and the EA app I have a 4k laptop, but I can't get the game to play at a lower resolution at full screen The icons are so tiny, and I don't need to play at 4k It runs smooth as butter though I would just like it to look like these videos, since there is no UI scaling

May I recommend you to unlock the sewage plant in the water plant if you put them back to back together you have an infinite water source in your city because right now if you looked at the water map where you had the water towers at the water starting to deplete

You can encourage density by lowering taxes Low wealth sims won’t complain at 12 tax rate, medium wealth: 11 and high wealth: 10 across residential, commercial, and industrial categories Although, they might be more sensitive to other problems at higher tax rates, like education, health system, services, or pollution

I found if you build commercial near Casino's or entertainment venues, they will turn into hotels which bring more tourists to your city

the last two casinos are extremely difficult to make money, especially when your city doesn't have many attractions for $$$ And I would remove the train tracks to give more space to the city, the station being a little further away does not affect the dynamics of the game

You should put an Omega HQ in the other city and expand the franchises to Elm Grove, that way you'll get cool neon shops that would look nice with the casino strip!

Hope you saw my comment in the last vid about improving gambling and power etc, your optimum tax rates are 12 for low wealth, 11 for medium wealth and 10 for high wealth across residential, commercial and industry should help you max your income and again upgrading buildings than adding new ones is much more cost effective for parks, garbage, police etc and if you wanna build overpasses for your tracks or to avoid contesting an area hit M to raise the road and N to lower it and try T junctions avoid 4 ways less traffic lights less traffic jams ❤
