For me Banana Mania would be a 10/10 if the controls were better as you mentioned and if they had multiplayer for the challenge mode It really sucks that they didn’t put multiplayer in as that was my friends and I go to mode to play on deluxe

So back in the day I was a SMB fanatic - I dumped soo many hours into the first title, completed it 100, and got freakishly good at monkey target I can't remember exactly why, but I had to move and lost the game It's been 20 years Here I am sitting on the eshop screen for Banana Mania and will buy it right now, but I don't want to taint those memories Are the controls for SMB 1 relatively the same as they were back in the day or would I be better off just buying a refurbished gamecube and going that route if I truly didn't want to tarnish my memories? 24:00 This makes the game better lol It gives players an actual feeling of accomplishment when reaching the Master stages brI remember I grinded so much as a kid to reach those Master stages, and when I finally got there it felt like an actual accomplishmentbrbrWhen you suck at Monkey Ball, you have no business playing the Master stages anyway, cause those are way too hard Locking them behind strict requirements makes a lot of sensebrDoing it the Banana Mania way by giving you helper functions and accessability stuff is just lame

You actually can skip the credits in Step & Roll, you just need to hold the button for a few seconds (Also I actually like Step & Roll and would've put it in the top half, it has the best soundtrack in the series)

you forgot to mention one of the most important thing s about banana mania! The Removed Co-op from doing adventure mode In The Old games my friends and i would play it to see who could Finnish the game first, or who can hit the short cuts, or even get to the extra levels Quite a shame that was removed because we still boot up 1 and 2 to play to this day

I'm hoping that one day an unreleased version of Monkey Ball is discovered If the Dreamcast hadn't failed I think it would have released on Dreamcast The original Monkey Ball ran on the Naomi arcade hardware which is almost identical to the Dreamcast It is sad that the Dreamcast failed :( It is one of the best consoles ever made

Monkey ball adventure is my favorite monkey ball game It is really hard and can even be annoying but I think is has a lot of charm and at least has the best multiplayer out of any monkey ball game

I really have a soft spot for the original Banana Blitz Yes, the controls completely sucked, but I played this game so much as a kid that I mastered them Also, the music is incredible! I think the worst game imo is Super Monkey Ball 3D It’s so easy and boring! Also, the Party games in it completely suck as their watered down versions of Mario Kart and Smash BrosbrbrStill, I like this list Super Monkey Ball 2 is one of my favorite video games of all time, even after 20+ years It beats all the other Monkey Ball games by a mile imo

Super Monkey Ball Jr allows you to move faster with the A button & slow down with the B button Basically, it's the closest to a control stick for a hand held It's actually how I won Expert 19 Holding down A while moving allows you to clear it Kinda like how Super Mario 64 DS has a run button to emulate holding down a control stick in the original
