I think I disagree with Tricky Triangles being so high up on the list If we're factoring in the work it takes to reach Rainbow Ride, sure, I could see it being in the top 50, but in terms of actual difficulty, I always found it very easy Failing the timing has no consequences, and about 1/3 - half of the triangles can be skipped with simple jumps, to the point that stepping on EVERY triangle didn't really feel like the "intended" method, more that so many triangles were put there to distract or confuse the player

Worth mentioning that my 3 1/2 year old son got the star from big boo on the marry go round completely on his own but hasn't got the toad stars on his own yet "easy" is a bit of a flexible concept

When i was little, i had so much trouble with some of these because i never read the instruction books, so the long jumps, wall jumps and side flips happened by accident and i never had any idea how i did them That and i never understood the pole physics as a kid and would always end up jumping off in random directions Once i learned the moves and physics, it was so much easier

Unpopular opinion: Tick tock clock is way harder than Raindbow ride, because ttc has unfair invisible walls and all the collisions are janky anyways, now because I know speedrun tricks, nothing in this game is really hard anymore, just tedious, namely most of the 100 coin stars, the exceptions being: wf 100, ccm 100 (sometimes), lll 100, wdw 100, and ironically, rr 100

funny tip: you can easily reach the star on the top of the pyramid riding a koopa shell towards it from the very beginning of the course, turn left as you hop on the shell and avoid a tornado that suddenly pops up from the quicksand near the red pillar
