Directv Stream has NFL Network and Red Zone Also has several 4K channels one of them is a continuous 4K channel so you don't have to wait for special events Directv has the most 5:1 audio I've tested, vs YTTV It also has NewsMax and Reelz which is a biggy YTTV for me is just missing channels I want Directv Stream is more expensive I agree but you get channels more like the Satellite service You better redo this review its very inaccurate

DTV adds a $1500 a month fee for ARS fee for rewind, fwd etc service Plus $1400 a month RS fee So for Ultimate package it goes to $138 a a month instead of advertised $ 10999 a month They also want to force you to take their Gemini Air and if you don't return it on time charge you $12000 along with a 2 year contract and a remaining up to $24000 early cancellation fee Plus there are more added fees when you get you monthly bill So for a decent package plan on spending $15000 a month All of these services and fees can be had for the exact same price with their satellite package for 3 receivers So I would just get their satellite package instead if you want DTV Otherwise get everything with Hulu and + Hulu Live + Disney+ and ESPN+ for $90 a month with no extra fees Your choice

I have Directv Satellite I get Directv Stream on my all my Roku devices (8) Doesn't cost me any extra We have another property 350 miles away When we go there, I have the same service I have at home location With hulu, I would have to set up another account and pay

Because Direct tv Stream has a battle going with NBC we missed the first Dallas Cowboy game Anyone with Direct tv Stream didn't get to watch the first game of the season To say we are p***ed would be an understatement Going back to Utube TV

Yeah it’s a little more pricey but you get what you pay for The difference in picture quality between YouTube tv and DTV is amazing! DTV is far superior I’m willing to pay a little more for a decent picture YouTube is like 480p on my 4k TV

After having Frontier, formally known as Verzion Fios, DTV Stream is cheaper by a long shot Plus I enjoy the cable like layout It’s in my comfort zone And I’m getting what I’m paying for instead of higher prices and less channels, As with frontier when they raised prices and got rid of channels Thanks for the review

You guys have the best cord cutting channel I have seen So much information Here is my issue I have xfinity cable I am paying $376/month with internet I have 7 people in my household I have narrowed streaming services down to Hulu and Directv because I need to have at least 4 or 5 screens I would have to purchase additional screens with Hulu so the Choice plan seems like it will give me the options I need and a better interface at close to the same price What do you think?

I'm currently trialing FuboTV, which does not carry AMC or the History channel, a big disappointment for me The other must-have is Bally Sports which is the main broadcaster of professional sports in my area Only Fubo and Direct TV carry Bally sports If I keep Fubo, I will have to add separate streaming accounts for AMC and the History channel at an extra $20 a month

Direct TV stream is the ONLY one I found that has the Marquis network (Cubs), Me TV, Turner Networks, a DVR that let's you skip commercials ( not true with Hulu live ), has the Red Zone ( sports add on package ) It is pricey, but you get what you pay for, and I'm willing to pay a bit more for everything I want

They have just signed a new deal with the NFL to carry NFL Network and Red Zone All the devices should have 4K support on the app but I could be wrong

DIRECTV STREAM added 4k channels this week, their picture quality is superior than the competition, price is only $2 more expensive than YTTV and has 3 of my favorites channels that YTTV dont have REELZ, A&E and history

Thanks for your comprehensive review Although DIRECTV Stream is expensive as a streaming service, it's actually cheap compared to those of us who have the satellite version of DIRECTV My bills with the satellite version run between $180-$220, and I have only 1 premium channel I can watch DIRECTV Stream on multiple TVs, while the satellite version requires a receiver box (and an additional charge) with each TV DIRECTV also has MASN, a regional sports network that no other streaming service has So, while I agree that DIRECTV is over-priced compared to other services, for me, it decreases my bill by 50

Can you bring up the idea of sling TV? Yes you can customize your TV shows in your channel lineup however, you do not get your local channels you do not get your major networks like on TV or something in different packages not to mention USA or AT&T or we TV MeTV things like that

Keep in mind when you get the ultimate package you were still be in charge for the premium services I can Curtis with them themselves and I wasn’t happy which is why I am looking for other options Currently I have had DIRECTV stream for over a year as well Today has been held to deal with DIRECTV Stream I have been trying to consistently ask them to see about give me a better option as far as to better pricing as far as to getting better and Customer, service by far and ones who know what you’re talking about their whole times are tremendous When you get a hold of somebody, they want to downplay you and trying to talk to you like you don’t know what you’re talking about when they are the ones who are actually clueless I have been looking around for other options currently unfortunately I am stuck with DIRECTV stream

Direct TV stream is basically att Uverse, but the Uverse I had was more expensive, even with the loyalty promos, the price keep climbing slowly, those sneaking clowns at ATT think we don't notice, and play the game, "Ok, we'll give you a couple dollars off", but if you live in a high tax state, you will pay more in taxes!

I was using Sling for several years I was even a beta tester for them After they started raising prices more and more and the fact I had all of the channel packages with them I switched to Directv Stream I like how I actually get all locals, the picture is far better and I really haven't had any issues with it I'm not happy about the price, but the highest tier honestly costs at much as my local cable company without any premium channels I'll stick with it for the time being

Great Video! I have looked at many of the streaming services such as DirectV, YouTube, Apple, Fudu, etc I chose Directv for the following reason As senior citizens, my wife and I wanted something as close to cable as we could get without a huge learning curve It also has unlimited DVR (with the upgrade), and includes local news channels, local sports networks etc In addition, we are not movie watchers and many of the other services seem to emphasize, the movies networks It may be more costly than other services, but it still saves us more than $10000 for television YouTube TV does not include RFD-TV, UP-TV, or Reelz - a deal breaker

The only problem that I have with DIRECTV and or fuboTV in Fluegel does not show MSL all the time baseball so this week they had one game of the twins on and they were showing it on DIRECTV but they weren’t showing sowing on Fubo tv can you tell me why they don’t show it on there all the time and I looked up on prime TV I could buy it for 25 or $24 a month to stream your own baseball channels I like your reviews they’re awesome I’m thinking of switching from YouTube TV, the back to cable or some other streaming device that shows the ML channel the MLB channel I hope I’m saying that right thank you you’re awesome videos

Been with Dtv stream for two years The choice plan is pricey but i prefer it to fubo I was offered a Gemini air to keep for beta testing That being said i think they are dumb in thinking most people are going to pay $15 a month for the first dongle and $10 for the ones after that I would jusf buy more rokus

Don't you believe the free 5 day trial AT&T suggested we switch from uverse to directv stream to save money For considerably less money we would have the same channels as our uverse 200 service and all local channels Not true Many channels we watch were missing Only some local channels, not all the ones we like to watch Therefor we cancelled directv stream and returned to uverse service immediately Guess what We just found a directv stream payment on our credit card statement Of course, we will deny the charge but that's not the point Directv stream misrepresented their service and trial poilicy

In my opinion, because of the price, it would best for them to compete in areas where wired cable is not available, and where antenna recepion is scarce It has nice features, but so does YTTV, and Sling, which cost less to subscribe to

To have a serious discussion of Direct TV is a bit futile If there is a worse run company as large as ATT, I'd be shocked ATT is a technology company which is at least two steps behind its competition I feel for those who live where there are few choices other than ATT Although I don't have a mobile phone, most everyone that I know that had ATT mobile has switched to T-Mobile or another carrier How long will Direct TV be owned by ATT is a pertinent question From what is in the public record ATT would like to sell but the multi-billion loss that will have to be taken is still too hard to swallow I understand that Direct TV's biggest appeal now are the RSN's but that appeal can't last long because no one knows how the RSN's are going to settle out

Can anyone who has Directv Stream tell me whether you can simultaneously watch 3 different channels on 3 different TVs while also recording (DVRing) other programs? And if so, how many? I currently have Dish ($165/mo) and I can record and watch 17 different channels (not that I do) 😉 But it does have me spoiled

It is more expensive, but what I like about Directv Stream is that you are allowed 3 simultaneous streams outside of your home which includes 2 tv's, I can watch Directv Stream at work and at our vacation home on tv's Other platforms only allows this on mobile devices

Cant really Compare Fuibo anymore since theyeve totally changed there service dropped alot of channels i like to watch though they have RSNs and Most sport Fubo has realll lost my interest in them thats why i go with Direc tv stream and not to Mention Fubo is about the Same as Direc tv Stream and dont have alot of channels i like to watch other than RSNs Lack of Trurner channnels Hurts them big time and adding Ridiulous channls
