I have had YouTube TV pretty much since it came out I'm satisfied but I have not been satisfied with the price hikes for channels I mostly don't watch I think when I started it was $49/month, now,it's like $69/month I switched from DirecTV which I just couldn't justify paying like $150/month or whatever it was for tv entertainment If you're a sports fan, I would suggest YTTV You get all of the local affiliates, all of the ESPNs, FS1, FS2, NBATV, NFL Network, MLB, SEC, ACC, etc and they just picked up NFL Sunday Ticket Comment from : ODK321

I gave up Directv after 15 years and been using Philo for the past year I need at least 2 streams, I need a DVR, and I mainly watch those weekly shows on the cable channels, no sports and I’m not big on movies I had to adjust to no locals, which I did and I found ways to watch my locals when needed My b8ggest problem with Philo is the app, it is horrible, the amount of issues I have with it is ridiculous, functions not working, the layouts horrible, it signs me out constantly, I also hate the fact I can’t customize my DVR, I know they say it’s unlimited so why customize but I would like to be able to erase things I’ve watched or not record reruns, or mark something was watched so it drops lower on the list, so I do have some complaints about that I’ve thought about, after a whole weekend of app glitches and cluttered DVR, switching services but $25 compared to $60-$70, I just can’t justify it Lol Comment from : AmandaP

My opinion of Sling's Blue/Orange is the opposite of the reviewer's For me, it's perfect I don't want ESPN or any other sports network unless it's football season I go with Blue only February thru August and go with Blue+Orange (with ESPN) for football seaon I live in a city 9 miles from local stations towers and have a DVR for the locals It all depends on what youn want The nice thing about any of these services is that you can try them out without having to pay for more than a month if you don't like it Might even have a free or discounted price to try out All you need is some kind of streaming device - no other equipment, contracts, or commitments Comment from : DK89

I don't watch much TV so Sling works for me to get the few channels I like without having to pay a lotbrbrAnother thing I like about Sling is they carry a lot of "free" cannels that the free live streaming services offer, but at least on Sling they allow those programs to be saved to DVRbrbrBut I do have complaints They force their own commercials over regular content I may actually be interested in seeing ads for upcoming shows on a channel I like but Sling won't let me see the actual broadcasted commercialsbrbrAnd while it's nice they offer a lot of added free channels, it seems like they have 150 Spanish speaking channels and there's no way to filter that out of my guidebrbrIt's not perfect but for me it's doable but I would not give them a glowing recommendation I used to have YouTube TV but it became too expensive Comment from : Geoff Holland
