2 minutes in I had to stop I'm going to buy a new TV It will be a "smart" TV It's hard to tell reading the description and specs of the new models what the hell they are actually capable of performing If I buy a new TV with all the bells and whistles, do I still need and ad on device to stream directv?

I only want new episodes and for some reasons it’s choosing the new episode but on 3 different channels at multiple times throughout the day…this seems so outdated it’s blowing my mind! How do I get it to just ONE episode especially when it’s an ESPN show…I don’t want ESPN2 recordings…etc 😢

Worst part of this service is the set top boxes do not pair with the TVs for turning power on and off They are paired supposedly bc that’s what the screen says that the remote will now control the TV power and volume but it only controls the volume and channel fuctions; not the powering on and off of the TV

After watching your videos on cordcutting I decided to go with directtvstream yesterday I don't recommend signing up over the phone The customer service reps have difficulty paying attention to what you're saying, particularly email addresses Took me over an hour to sign up I'll check back as time goes by, but so far it's very user friendly and very much like cable/ satellite using Roku 4k stick Be advised that Roku volume control will not work with an IR sound bar

Is there any way to extend the duration of a recording? For example, if I want to record a ball game that frequently lasts longer than the scheduled time slot, is there a way to add an hour or two the stop time (I can do this with Uverse, and could with the old DTV satellite version) Thanks!

We've had DTV (satellite) for many years but are now considering cancelling in favor of DTV Streaming I signed up for the trial earlier today In checking it out, it appears you can have only one favorites list as opposed to separate ones for each viewer Is this the case, or am I missing something in setting it up?

Please do a deep dive on how the DVR functions for playback This is really important to those like me that are worried about responsiveness to skipping forward, being able to fast forward and there not being issues with buffering Thanks!

Michael: question: Under the my library tab for the dvr - How are the recordings sorted? Can you change the sort order? Coming from youtube tv and recordings are not sorted by recording date but sorted by episode So a show with a lot of reruns, you can't see which one was recorded, like yesterday

Yesss you’re so awesome man Your reviews and tutorials are the best on YouTube I wanna suggest to those who are new to buy the box A Refurbished one is $49 bucks and mine works just fine I do love roku but the box and remote streamlines the experience It also has worked great so far (in my first month) with peacock, Netflix & Hulu The problem I’m having is the hesitation of paying $70 after the second month when I can get most of the same channels for the same price with Hulu live tv plus espn+ plus Disney+ The experience is the best imo (tried yttv, sling, and hulu live) but the value after the second month leaves me confused about what to do Lol

I've been using directv stream for a few years, just recently been trying youtube tv, I have to say that I like youtube tv better, I like their dvr features, the catalog is great, have everything in category, also their scan through commercials was much faster, I must say directv stream does offer more channels
