I’m going to buy my first American gold coin tomorrow All I want is pre-33 in my gold stack I have right now a 1920 Gold 2 Peso coin in really nice shapebrbrUpdate: I went into the coin store, and I bought a $10 gold piece It’s an 1893 Liberty head and it’s not graded, but he said it was probably MS61 or MS62 and looking at pcgs photo grade, I would agree I paid $1,075 for it Please let me know if you think I got a bad deal or not Like I said I’m new to gold I think I got a decent deal but I’m not totally sure Thanks for any input

I really want to get a pre 33 gold double eagle and monument metals has an XF grade for $1,950 but like u say I would have to get the coin without seeing it 1st Wich is very risky I've done this once before and got my AU $10 liberty head from jm bullion and received a pretty decent coin but it was one of the highest mintage years I would go to one of my coin shops but they are just way to expensive
