The latest stats on washing machines now say that LG washer has the fewest repairs of all washers Hope so because I thought Speed Queen was the best, brbut since LG has been found to have the lowest rate of repairs I have just bought an LG top loader washer Comment from : Emma Love |

Very informative and consulted many friends, watched other online youtube videos and read several forum posts! Definitely took some of these suggestions into consideration Previous Fridge that came with the builder was small later went with Frigidaire Professional and decided to not use Ice and water dispenser Also upgraded to larger capacity LG Washer and dryer, Bosch dishwasher and stove! Never looked back, hopefully they will last a while!brbrAlso forgot about exhaust range hoods reviews? Comment from : WXStar |

the real truth is ALL appliances are made out of the cheapest components they can put in it The reality is if a company was smart they would come up with an appliance like the old ones where you can repair it and it will last 30 years people are sick and tired of buying crap and having to buy it every 4 to 5 years I want one and will pay twice as much as normal as long as i dont have to wait around for another delivery and waste my whole day and another day going to buy another one all these companies are filling up the landfill with these trash appliances they are making If our governement was serious about wasting plastic and being green they would enforce these companies to make a quality product and if it has to be replaced the manufacturers should be forced to pay for the disposal of the old one Comment from : handyt butler |

I needed to come back here and say Thank you for making this video One, for reminding us to buy matching appliances you were right The wife did comment on how she liked both of them matching Went with the LG washer and dryer 50 and the 74 LG dryer brOur Samsung top load 52 panel fried on us just after having it for a year and 3 monthsyeahits on us that we didn't get a warranty for itbut the way it is and what Samsung said they were probably just going to give us a prorated amount instead of fixing it brBut so far, the front-end washer is more quiet than the LG dryer which is already really quiet But the LG washer is much more quiet and seems more efficient the Samsung top load washer So, we are very impressedand it looks like it has a 10 year motor warranty but I haven't read in detail the info it came withI'm just going off of what the front of the washer says brAnd this time we got the 5 year warranty parts and labor added on as well brbrIt would be nice to see a detailed video on how to properly maintenance these as well as when Comment from : 7th |

The alternative is getting a portable icemaker for $100! I’ll never get a Fridge w Ice maker again! Comment from : Deni RN |
|
Thank you regarding the microwave protocol I spend the summer before last going nuts while my niece and nephews constantly opened the door mid-cycle The adults who have used it, it's easier to explain it is akin to turning a car off while it's still in drive! lol thank you again! Comment from : Angie |
|
Microwave: anybrCooker: any but not commercial brDishwasher: BoschbrFridge: FRIGIDAIRE or GE, maybe avoid LG and Samsung Ice maker will likely stop workingbrWasher: Electrolux or LGbrDryer: matching set Comment from : Emanuel Parker |

For buyers watching, it would make sense that commercial appliances to be repaired more often because of the cost, and since they're used more and are usually designed to be easily repaired with standardized parts and accessibility Whereas home appliance owners would probably be more willing to just replace it instead of going through the repair process, especially with current generally anti-repair design, they'd rather shop around something better People want more reliable and resilient made appliances because they don't want repairs in the first place, but repair is generally inevitable First time buyers look for shiny features but overlook key components brI don't find anecdotes really that critical here, and the data needs more in-depth analysis and interpretation than surface level numbers, I don't suspect there's enough data to make any concrete conclusions Going for direct comparison of the quality of parts and design between models would be more crucial Comment from : Rep |
|
what about single door (no freezer) refrigerators? What is your advice there? Comment from : Sebastian Malton |

I am not a fan of water & ice on the door refrigerators Just about everyone I know has had a problem with the icemaker on the door I have a 15-year-old Kenmore Elite freezer on the bottom fridge Still running like a champ I've had the ice maker serviced once because the water intake hose froze Tech told me to use the ice maker more to keep the water flowing Haven't had a problem since Comment from : Diva9000x |
|
Now I understand why my friend has replaced her microwave 3 times I always press the "pause" button before opening my microwave She just yanks the door open before the timer goes off I told her that should hit the pause buttonI should send her this video Would that be petty? 🤷🏽😂 Comment from : Diva9000x |
|
The Compressor on my LG went out 3 times in 9 years LG French door is the one I have thin the 680 labor and it has warranty which is great but we paid for a or not fair- but still it is stupid we paid a arm n a leg My tech said I will have to replace that compressor later on n to get something different Comment from : Lorena Villela |

As a repairman he wouldn't recommend Miele, cause he would be without work I gave away my old Miele vacuum cleaner to my parents, after using it for 7 years, they still use, its over 20 years old now I have new one, that is now 14 years old, can't wait for it to break, so I can buy another model :) Comment from : V Mach |

For most kitchen appliances but especially dishwashers and ovens you can’t beat Miele, their quality is top notch Comment from : joe bloggs |
|
I'd DEFINITELY stay FAR away from any electrolux Mother's fridge done living after 3 years of constant repairs and my dishwasher didn't live even 20 cycles before door stopped latching and unit stopped working So my solution is not to repeat mother's mistake with Electrolux and sell it as soon as it's warranty serviced and purchase another brand Not sure though why you never mention systematic reliability issues of Electrolux Comment from : ondaride777 |
|

|
Thank you, Blake Really appreciate your honest reviews I can confirm for two appliances we have his recommendation: GE refrigerator 25 years old accept the light bulb issue, runs without problems LG top load and dryer no issues You should tell everyone to level it once in a while If it is not leveled correctly it'll not turn on We had that issue and called several technicians One came to have a look at it, and told us that a part($150) needs to be replaced due to a disconnect behind the start button I found the same recommendations on youtube, which was a reason to trust the diagnostic Since the cost seemed high, my husband wanted to try it before ordering the part The reason why I'm letting everyone know is that the other two technicians said the similar things "Oh, LG washers are having issues and are not reliable" My husband found no issues with the parts Leveled it and low and behold, it was working by the slightest touch Now, searching for our Dishwasher problem, I see that you are given your honest recommendations Other reviews on this channel are true as well Thank you so much! Love your channel Comment from : Eye South |

Excellent video!! I didn’t know that pulling a microwave door open to stop it was hard on the switch I have been doing this because of the annoying loud 5 beeps when the timer reaches zero Most models don’t have an option to turn off the sound So, when I wanted to avoid waking up my family in the early morning, I’ve been yanking on the door Comment from : Mpls Farmer |

One thing you didn't mention was the quality of plastic used in the dishwasher For plastic a salty environment like a dishwasher is a harsh environment, so plastic tends to dry out quicker and fail Although plastic repairs isn't usually something you call a prepair technician for Comment from : LogiForce86 |

Front load washers require a door gasket which always, always gets dirty with gunk and mildew Top load is best Comment from : Drums 7520 |

I work on commercial ice machines for a living The biggest issue I have with my ice maker is that ice just gets stuck, preventing it from making ice Its easy to just blame the manufacturer, but i think it just comes with the territory The environment is below freezing Where as, with a commercial machine, its not So, if ice gets stuck, it will eventually melt and resume operating Comment from : brandon |
