Quick question, say you have a 2 year fixed saver and after the two years the interest earned is over £1000 eg £1500, will your PSA cover this as it's over 2 years (£2000 allowance) or would you pay tax on the £500? Cheers! Comment from : James |

Great video Andy! Could you maybe cover what saving accounts can be opened by someone aged 16? My son has just turned 16 and his Halifax account changed to an everyday saver I see that a lot of the savings accounts out there require you to be 18 to apply What are good accounts he could open himself? Thanks Comment from : Nick Dinnen |

I've just opened an easy acces on Parangon via Raisin at 266 but it says the min deposit is £20,000 and max £85,000 The article said the minimum was £1,000 Maybe there's a typo or maybe I'm just very confused and got it totally wrong? 😵 Can anyone check this? (I'm still waiting to get approve on the group on Facebook) 😀 Comment from : Ilu ✨ |

Maturity in 5 years, 3 years, or even 1 year is to sucker you and your savings in so that when the bank collapse comes, the government will use it to “bail in” the banks and leave you with sweet FA Spread your savings out over multiple easy access accounts is the smart move at this time Comment from : psg8802 |

Thanks again for another decent update Andy I have had regular savers over the years and know the headline rate doesn't equate to what you receive but they are good for short term goals, ie new household furniture etc you wish to purchase the year after I feel they are to get folks into saving rather than those who already have enough to fund, say a fixed rate with the same amount brA good addition to a portfolio as they say :) Comment from : Mini Mad |
