Is Wise a good option for Non-dom? (they have a debit card in order to avoid transferring the money back to the Irish bank account)

Great video 2 quick questions, 1 If you lodge 50K with Trade Republic as uninvested cash, will the 2 interest rate apply as your savings will (hopefully) be over 50K quickly due to the compound interest or are you better off lodging say 40K so you don't go over the 50K immediately? 2 Is Trade Republic just as good as Degiro, etc for investing in EFTs/Stocks as i like the idea of having everything in 1 place?

Re Raisin Bank: What is the withholding tax mentioned in most accounts on their web page? Is this the tax which must paid in the country the bank is domiciled? After which we have to pay Irish CGT of 33 on any profits left? If that is true the French bank Younited seems like a decent offer with 325 aer with no withholding tax

Dan, is there any way for an Irish retail investor to buy individual short-term bonds and create a bond ladder without going into a bond/cash fund like you can do in the USA and UK? The yield on short term treasuries can be attractive and you can avoid price volatility by holding them to maturity Thanks so much and keep up the good work!

As an Irishman who moved to the UK this year, I think these rates are abysmal My current account pays me 1 on balance, 1 cashback on all purchases, and savings account pays 3 with no cap Ireland needs to get their things together
