We got a cfmoto 800 and so far with 500 miles in it has been rock solid All of the older brands IMO are just cheap junk now anyways Sure they were rock solid back in the day but they have ALL gone the way of seeing how much they can charge you for and offer AS little as possible Not to mention all I hear is how they are ALL in the shop all the time having to be fixed I've heard things about CF Moto as well but pretending like the other major brands don't have issues is a joke Just my general observation of forums that trash talk cfmoto
Comment from : Steven Purcell 7626

HmmReally
Biggest problem with ALL OF THEM IS PRICE!!! I mean when you're looking at something that will likely be used mostly as a big toy is now priced the same as many cars and SUVs
Comment from : HmmReally

Ryan Hall
I got a 600 and 800 3yrs still running strong

Had a 2010 quadzilla rs6 (cfmoto brand) for years, bought it because it was one of the few uk quads that can be properly road regesterd, was dubious about a chinese made vehicle but to be honest it was a fantastic machine done quite a few thousand miles on it on and off road and can't think of a single breakdown on it apart from the winch and a coupel of batterys Sold it to a farmer friend about 4 years ago and he has been abusing it ever since, only fault he has had is the radiator rotted out Genuinely been amazed how decent it has been
Comment from : justa fish

Your Local Plumbing Company
The thing about CFMoto ATVs are some of the only four wheelers where the base configuration is actually decent
Comment from : Your Local Plumbing Company

Jiffyjimmy12
Not going to consider CFMOTO for the simple reason that I try to support chinese companies as little as possible Also, here in Canada, the ceforce 600 is only $450 cheaper than an outlander 700 I know id rather shell out the extra pennies for the Can-am
Comment from : Jiffyjimmy12

Outdoorztime
I have a Yamaha Kodiak 700 and enjoy riding it I must say though, the CFMOTOs are some nice-looking machines I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one
Comment from : Outdoorztime

Craig Griffith
I have seen older Honda's with 20000 miles Can CFMOTO do that ?

I bought a CF MOTO C600 touring ATV in 08/2021 So far so good It is pretty nimble on the trails at the various ATV riding areas here in Western Washington It is a heavy machine and plenty of power for the steep sections on the trail The brakes great and the tires are excellent for the stuff that I drive in Even with another person on board it is very manageable even on the rough stuff So far no problems and it does very good on gas
Comment from : John m

Austin Rupard
I still wouldn't buy one, if I'm wanting something value oriented I'll just go to the used market
Comment from : Austin Rupard

Arthur Douglas
I own a cf Moho 400 and my son and I both hunt in some really remote places in cape York Australia and it always get me home!!! Probably the biggest issue I’ve had was the plastic belly guard ripped off on my first outing, replaced it with a alloy one and not one once of drama
Comment from : Arthur Douglas

Sin City Denny
2022 600 bought new and have had shifting problems from day 1 Dealer said it a common problem and to live with it
Comment from : Sin City Denny

Allepy
We own a 450AU-L Two-seater We drove 7000 km in the jungle in Peru Likewise, we did all maintenance and had only an electric problem until now, which was fixed quickly Very happy with this machine Very powerful and dirt roads are not any problem
Comment from : Allepy

Nick Dial
Here's my problembrbrEvery Chinese company is forced and required to work with the CCP governmentbr By giving companies like this your money, you are directly participating in the funding of death camps and the selling of organs from forced slaves, everything they're doing to the uygher populationbrbr You are funding The encroaching invasion of Taiwanbr As Americans or Western customers in general, this should trouble you and you should take pause brIf you can avoid giving Chinese companies your money, especially large purchases such as this, You should really consider itbrbrPeople may want to turn a blind eye to this out of convenience, or they want to get whatever toy really bad, but the harsh reality is, by buying these items, you are directly giving money to a tyrannical Communist regime, a regime that wants to be the next global world power
Comment from : Nick Dial

Lonnie Pruitt
I have friend who has cycle shop he sales Polaris and CFMOTO guess which he sales most of?? CFM
Comment from : Lonnie Pruitt

Alan Clapp

Comment from : Alan Clapp

yamen16
My father bought a 2015 sportsman 570 brand new and to this day has less than 500 miles on It and it has been nothing but trouble Power steering problems constantly and issues with it starting without throttling it to keep it running brHis ranger xp has been reliable except the cringy transmission that struggles to go in gear without giving it some rpms
Comment from : yamen16

yamen16
Cfmoto is the best seller in Europe
Comment from : yamen16

John Kidder
I Bought One CFORCE 600 I Got Hurt From The Power Steering Lock Up On Me In a Field Also Have Trouble Shifting It And it Wines Out 20 Mph Sounds like The Motor is Going to Blow CFORCE Don't Give a 💩💩💩💩💩 About There Customer's And The Dealership Are Even Worst
Comment from : John Kidder

Charles
Heres my only thing i have against cfmoto and its the build quality you might get a quad thats perfect or you might get one thats shit
Comment from : Charles

Vincent Montambault
They are not Chinese, they are from Taiwan, witn a canadian transmission
Comment from : Vincent Montambault

silverback802
I think CF Moto has made giant strides in the last 5 years and judging by almost all of the comments below they are doing very well and appear to be reliable I own a Honda Pioneer 520 right now and had a Pioneer 500 before that Not one issue with either one however that CF Moto uforce 1000 looks appealing to me Maybe someday
Comment from : silverback802

David Hughes
The 400 is on the top of my list with the Kingquad a distant 2nd
Comment from : David Hughes

FaTMaRV
I have been beating the hell out of mine doing farm work for the past few months I have been cutting cedar deep in the southern woods The CF Moto has out preformed the 3 Polaris setups from the others Trailer hitch is full size I have been pulling 2k lb loads of wood from deeeep in the woods Locker is amazing Bumper guards have taken out over 500 small trees I have a 600 touring comparing to the Polaris 850 efi
Comment from : FaTMaRV

Abaddon BC
I'm in the market for a machine as a disabled combat vet/hunter I was looking at American based companies but came across cf moto while searching through dealership inventory They caught my eye more than any other machine also the price point was appealing Still, I was on the fence being a Chinese company I've searched high and low for validations on cf motos and came across this video Before watching I ran straight to the comments and I'm sold! I also watched the video after and found it was so damn informative and well scripted Good work my friend and thank you!
Comment from : Abaddon BC

Legacy Off-Roading
They are trash I have 2 buddies with them and 20 miles and less they both are back at the dealer under warranty broken
Comment from : Legacy Off-Roading

DB COOPER
C’mon, American companies poisoned the water in Flint, Michigan and the air and water last month in Palestine, Ohio and Americans love shoes and phones and ATV parts made in China right, right! Most everything you buy is made in a foreign country Imagine if we didn’t purchase their products which provides them with jobs how many more foreigners would be sneaking across our border You do know that CF Moto is number one around the World in motorcycles and ATV’s with the exception of just the Untied States CF Motos US Headquarters are in Minneapolis, Minnesota and have been there since 2007, that’s 16 years! Anyways just a few things I wished to point out
Comment from : DB COOPER

DB COOPER
Well fellows I own a 2019 800 XC and a 2021 600 Touring and a 1997 Polaris Sportsman 500 and I’ve had fun on all of them It’s not fair to compare the Polaris to the CFORCE because of the age difference I will tell you that I’ve ridden all over the desert, mountains and grasslands of New Mexico and haven’t had an issue with the CF Motos to date I don’t ride any of my machines like I stole them and I am a stickler about regular maintenance on all my vehicles When I’m spending thousands of dollars I want things to work and to last One thing for sure, you get lots of bang for your buck with CF Moto Get you something and get out there and have fun!
Comment from : DB COOPER

Doc Lex
all chinese brands are 'hit or miss'! i'd say out of 3 identical models -one will perform like miracle, one will have enough annoying breaks and one will be complete trash - quality control is not so good there so you have to ask yourself 'do you feel lucky, punk' lol
Comment from : Doc Lex

Lindolfo Sandoval
How can we get a hold of the cf motor dealer or where can we buy one
Comment from : Lindolfo Sandoval

Len Mailloux
I have 2022 CFORCE500 and use it mostly in the bush cutting firewood and trail riding I use the winch a lot and it works great I bought a Kimpex Click n Go plow for it this winter and it works good too, really easy to take off and put back on when you need it The only issue I do have is that the shifter is hard to move occasionally but overall I'm happy with it
Comment from : Len Mailloux

Jenny
Iv just brought a 400 and am very impressed sure it’s the cheap model but the features are amazing, 4wd it’s got a outlet to plug my ph into digital display man they have come a long way I haven’t had a 4 weelr for years as I run my farm with a side by side and I’m loving it! Only problem is no wear to put tools and fencing but I’ll figure that out
Comment from : Jenny

Mr Sommerville
Dude what do you have against polaris These don't even compare
Comment from : Mr Sommerville

Mr Alkanet
sure and in your country there are only roses in bloom, you bloody hypocrite, you poison entire planet with heavy metals and whatnot
Comment from : Mr Alkanet

Hermann Vorwerg
Using my CF450L on my farm in brazil Besides some electric issues from rats eating the cables its beens smooth riding
Comment from : Hermann Vorwerg

FSEVENMAN
The Chinese brands should cost 50 of the OEM That is the only way I would even think about one
Comment from : FSEVENMAN

Charles Berry
I have a 2021 cforce 600 and I love it
Comment from : Charles Berry

Nole Mercy
That's cool and all, but I'm not sending my money to China I'll just keep waiting for my current quads to break down They haven't yet, so I'll keep waiting

I'll keep my Honda
Comment from : ryan webster

silverback802
Over the years I have ridden with nearly every brand including Cf Moto for the last couple of years Polaris takes the honors for the most breakdowns
Comment from : silverback802

Dan Kruger
I think the CFMoto is here to stay Personally, i won't buy one I look at the resale of a machine 10 to 15 years down the road, when it's time to sell
Comment from : Dan Kruger

Zachary Brown
My overland has been great and is just as fast as a buddies sportsman 850 xp Main street cycle has so much aftermarket support now too !
Comment from : Zachary Brown

Leon Phelps
To the naysayers… guess who manufactures the majority of KTM engines? yup CFMoto…sure there are few quality issues but the bones are KTM and CVT transmissions (made in Canada)
Comment from : Leon Phelps

romeo serban
Stick to the CF Moto, as the brand didn't make those toys If you want to talk who poisons more it's own people, US Of A is the Champion so far by far All the crap that you put in the people from vaxes to day by day"medicine" is mind blowing, so shut the fuck up and stick with the atv business, Freddy
Comment from : romeo serban

paximus
I had a cforce 400 for about 8 months I just recently bought a Honda rubicon not I blew 2 to 3 belts every month!! And both of my cluches went on it I’ve been trying to use low gear but this was my first four wheeler and it gave me a bad experience with belt driven bikes so I got a Honda instead and I also have a bad experience with cvtech
Comment from : paximus

Bret Ealick
I have own Hondas and race time does four years In 2017 I bought a CF Moto 500 it has been a very dependable ATV I would buy another and plan on buying one

Comment from : Bret Ealick

WV MountainMan
Why would anyone buy anything but a HONDA?!
Comment from : WV MountainMan

Chris Lobb
Money talks with new and moderate ATV riders br People who don’t know if they will spend a lot of time on them are not going to mortgage a new big brand br I think it depends on the quality and quantity of there dealers at this point The machine is good enough for the money in this market
Comment from : Chris Lobb

Smooth Rider
NO WAY 👎👎 cf moto
Comment from : Smooth Rider

gregory mandile
CF Moto is the Best ATV right now
Comment from : gregory mandile

James Gradwell
Legit! I love mine and my nehews that have the can also and polaris love it too $$$ wise it's Awsome
Comment from : James Gradwell

Charles Mikesell
Atv mechanic here, I notice far too many of these reviews are written by people who either don’t actually own one or never keep them long term If I bought a Honda new I’d expect a good twenty years from it minimum, forty years maximum Same goes for Yamaha Polaris is a great bike aside from all the stupid electronics being used today, and that seems to be the weak point on all brands I don’t need nor want a bunch of computer controlled crap on a bike I currently run a 2001 Yamaha big bear, a 2007 Polaris ranger, a 2000 sportsman 500, my son has a 2004 trx450r and we’re quite happy with all of them I’ve worked on all brands and the one common issue is nobody keeps cf moto’s or can ams very long So I have to ask the question is the cfmoto really more affordable? A 10000$ Honda that, aside from sheer abuse, should easily last twenty years cheaper than a 6 or 7 thousand dollar bike that might last ten plus seems to require more maintenance? Now for the pee in your Cheerios, the cfmoto chassis steel is thinner walled and lower grade steel than the big 4

Buying a CFMoto
Comment from : Nathan Davenport

mallie legette
Cfmoto would be nice if they had a mud edition on a short wheel base
Comment from : mallie legette

Nathan Neitzell
I bought a Uforce 1000 2 years ago and after paying a dealership to do the 200 mile break in I've driven the thing only 1,000 miles total just around my land bringing hay to the horses The engine started burning oil rapidly at around 800 mi old It's been sitting at the dealership since October now and they just told me that the engine is shot and needs to be replaced but Cf Moto will not warranty anything or give me a break on any parts After paying nearly $13,000 for the machine brand new I'm now facing possibly $4,000 for a new engine I'm very disappointed in CF Moto and won't be buying another one of their machines
Comment from : Nathan Neitzell

Twin Turbo TRD
Wouldn’t touch a Cfmoto unless they cut the price in half
Comment from : Twin Turbo TRD

Greg Rowe
We’ve got a cf moto dealer pretty close to me here in Illinois Ironically it’s a Polaris and Can am dealer that a few years ago added cf moto to their lineup So I’ve seen them up close but have yet to ride one Biggest issue with them is resale value Even one 3-4 years old just doesn’t bring much money on the used market I guess it’s a plus if you want to gamble and buy a used unit, you can get them pretty cheap
Comment from : Greg Rowe

Hamer Player
Picked up a 2020 CFMOTO C Force 600 used from a friend with 300 miles on it for $4600! Approaching 500 miles now and what can I say? It is a fun little machine and when I wear out the tires I will slap some 27's and 1 inch wheel spacers on it and re-clock the clutch I ride with my friend who has a Polaris 1000 XP S but that machine is 17k and very plush I am able to go everywhere he can just not at the crazy fast speeds because he has much more suspension but at $4600 I'm cool
Comment from : Hamer Player

Urban aronsson

Comment from : Richard Johnson

Rick Varro
Update on this machine: The diff repairs have held up just fine The only other three gripes I had about this machine I have also been able to fix easily 1) I had difficulty with the shifter There is a cable that runs from the brake pedal to the shiftera pin interlock I adjusted the cable back so I don't have to step on the pedal so hard to get the gear shifter to work If the cable stretches further, I'll just remove the interlock completely My Arctic Cat doesn't have this at all 2) Low speed surging: It was difficult to maintain a steady low speed or even load the ATV in a trailer The idle was 1850-1900 RPM I did some research and this is common Despite the manual saying that idle is non adjustable and controlled by the IAC, there are quite a few threads out there saying to back the idle screw down on the throttle body and close up the throttle plate Although it is difficult to get to, remove the RH plastics, use an 8mm wrench and loosen the jam nut all the way out until it hits the screw head and keep going I backed my idle stop screw out a good 3 turns Now the tricky part I had to open the throttle and clamp small vise grips on the end of the throttle stop screw to hold it in place while I tightened the jamb nut This is a tight spot to get to and it takes patience, but it is well worth it It's a totally different ATV now I can move it around with precision and maintain a steady low speed which was impossible before Much better 3) I could not get a regular trailer hitch ball assembly to fit into the receiver as it's not very deep I took it off and sanded the inside the hitch where the grommets are with a small belt sander Now a standard receiver will slide in, and although not quite deep enough, the holes do line up enough to get the standard CF Moto receiver pin to fit through (I had to enlarge the holes in the CF Moto part ever so slightly The standard CF Moto receiver's hole will not accept a large threaded 2" ball, but I still wanted to keep that stock for pulling around drop pin style small lawn trailers All good now!

Dave Smith
Just bought a 23 z1000 it's great has a v twin so it sounds a little like my harley with bottom end torque it looks good it's well built its not a can am but almost it's slower and a few inch less suspension but here in Thailand it's a 3rd the price because there assembled here so no tax and mine came loaded so for 16k Usd I have a good looking very capable utv if I was racing in king of the hammers I wouldn't recommend cfmoto but for me It's perfect to race around my village and farm dirt roads everywhere here
Comment from : Dave Smith

Kalen Broome
Licensed powersports tech, I have a grizzly and recently we got a cf moto trade in Looks are good but that's were it ends, drive and ergonomics are awful If you want cheap all round that's what your getting Save your money
