MY TEXTRON ARCTIC CAT MUG PRO 700 IS A BEAST! NOT ONE PROBLEM IN 8300 MILES OF HARD RIDING IN MAINE I HAVE DONE TIRES ON THE FRONT LOTS OF BRAKE PADS AND WHEEL BEARINGS HAVE WORN AWAY AND DID A CV BOOT IN ABOUT AN HOUR

Ted Veale
My two cents ! Reliability, Reliability and trust My wife's Polaris is always in for repairs Very fast machine but not reliable! When I am hunting and playing I do not want to get stuck in the bush My Suzuki has Reliability and sporty enough for playing, not racing! Honda is a great machine for what it is To tame for my liking North American machines spend too much time in the shop getting repaired When cruising in the BC mountainous terrain crazy speed is not at the top of the list At 55 years old I am content! Thanks

Fullsend Offroad
I've had good luck with Yamaha and Suzuki, so Imma stick to that I had a Polaris Xplorer and a Polaris Predator which constantly broke When they didn't start I said to myself "ah shit, here we go again"

darrell mcquay
I had 1 sportsman, I bought it brand new in 2012, few seconds after riding it the belt started smoking, at 1200 miles I needed to replace axels, the clutch grenaded itself at 2000 miles Needless to say it was my last sportsman and I moved onto a grizzly in 2016, the only repair I’ve done on the grizzly since 2016 was a torn CV boot that was totally my fault forcing the atv to move while it was frozen, and a starter that was $70 easy fix I did myself
Comment from : darrell mcquay

Bryan Staten
Polaris needs to redesign a scrambler that can compete in gncc Honda is an awesome machine but their horsepower is a joke compared to the rest If I was buying a new machine today it would most likely be the Yamaha grizzly Not interested in a gas guzzling big bore twin Curious about the new 700 canam outlander but don't want to be a first model year guinea pig
Comment from : Bryan Staten

Dexter’s keeper
Pretty biased towards the grizzly/Kodiak 700 myself but they have never left me stranded with regular maintenance
Comment from : Dexter’s keeper

Jacob smith
They are all overpriced in my opinion those cforce 600s should be like 4 or 5k not 7 or 8
Comment from : Jacob smith

Joe Rutkowsky
Suzuki all the way I just bought one after tons of research And sold my Polaris So far love the Suzuki And would not hesitate to buy another one
Comment from : Joe Rutkowsky

The Keeper
I like Yamaha and Can-AmbrI really want to get a ATVbrHaven’t had one since I was a kid
Comment from : The Keeper

Danny Macdonnell
43 years old I owned mostly Hondas Yamahas and can am and I have driven them all in my opinion there is no comparison at all to the Japanese brands period at my age you get to a point where you just want to drive not wrench all the time Grizzly 700 for this guy and Yamaha from now on in the future …
Comment from : Danny Macdonnell

Jake Brown
I’m looking into buying a utility ATV for myself this spring, I’m leaning towards Polaris 570, Yamaha 700, or Suzuki 500 but I’m not quite sure yet All seem to fit my wants and needs just fine As for Kawasaki, if their Brute force wasnt so ugly I might have taken a look at them but I just can’t look at one without cringing 😂
Comment from : Jake Brown

Chris Tribisondi
I'm a Suzuki 230 man myself

Comment from : GervaisD

Rob M
Every video I see shows that Japanese ATVs are not in the ballpark with Polaris and Can Am I watch Polaris and Can Am running over rough terrain and I see all the wheels moving up and down like suspension is working as it should But when I watch the Japanese bikes on rough terrain I see the tires bouncing over the rocks I don’t see the suspension even move I want finger touch power steering when crawling over the rough stuff and Japanese bikes don’t have enough assist with there power steering And Honda is out of touch with there ATVs with there car like automatic transmission Honda is a has been company that is riding on there past history Sorry guys but that is true Honda hasn’t kept up with any of the other companies
Comment from : Rob M

hunting fishing
Yamaha kodiak no complaints

RA
It’s a shame to see what Textron has done with Arctic Cat My family has owned 10 cat ATVs over the years and every one has been a great runner and hasn’t let us down They don’t have the fit and finish of a Honda or Can Am but they’re a more affordable option with great reliability
Comment from : RA

BC_Hunter
As a hunter in the Canadian wilderness and have done trips into the Yukon, etc, the Grizzly is the hands down choice I have owned a CanAm, but they suck gas, are very expensive and can tend to have belt issues arise When you're out in the middle of nowhere, you need reliability That's why Yamaha is my choice It also has better ground clearance and I can't tell you how many CanAm's and Polaris' have been towed out over the years
Comment from : BC_Hunter

DunkleChuck
I was convinced on buying a Polaris new… until sticker shock at $8500 for new 450 w winch I was fortunate to find 2019 Honda Rubicon 500 dct eps w low miles 2 ⬆️ seat Windshield 4 additional led lights n hitch n winch for $1500 less thrilled best describes it It’s a Honda!!! 🥹
Comment from : DunkleChuck

Bill Barry
HONDA, YAMAHA & CANAM In that order for reliability!!

I’ll never buy a ATV that isn’t Japanese again I’ve bought a new Polaris 3 times in my life and regretted it every time All 3 ended up having gearbox/chain case failures The first 2 was total failure The 2016 570 I bought felt like it had a half inch of play, or what I call “ slap”, in the gearbox brand new You could hear it clunk and clank when you got on and off the throttle brand new day 1 Polaris said perfectly normal Well it’s not normal to me and I got rid of it I had 2 fail on me before and wasn’t waiting for the 3rd to strip out I tried a Kawasaki and Yamaha with CVT trans and the gearbox didn’t have ANY slap in it Polaris seems to think a half inch of play is good tolerance between parts and Japan maintains a very tight tolerance Obviously more precision machines with attention to detail brbrCan Am…never had one so I can’t comment on them But I’m not willing to learn a new lesson I am interested in buying a Spyder though but that’s a while different ball game
Comment from : JohnnyRebKy

bwfreel
Bought my PoPo 500 in 2006, still have it and going strong , however I must admit that you need to be able to put up with trouble , and perhaps work on your own machine The Japanese manufacturers seem to have better quality control systems You basically pay for what you get Polaris equals great ride and features, Honda/ Yamaha good quads, better reliability, but more expensive
Comment from : bwfreel

XTREME CANADIAN
I traded my Polaris for a 86 Honda 4x4 and never looked back UPDATE I've added a 88 fourtrax to the line

Anyone saying they love Polaris is so lost or inexperienced with ATVs
Comment from : Kayla Vanbruggen

Japan! I love USA, but Japan Polaris is slang for poop I smell burnt belts when I hear Can Am
Comment from : Kayla Vanbruggen

cameron roy
We have 3 Polaris sportsman and a 1989 honda 300 The honda is the most reliable machine Taking them out in the spring the Polaris usually take some maintenance to get them going and running right The honda you hit the button starts right up and it's ready to goand on the trail can go through everything the Polaris can, and sometimes even more
Comment from : cameron roy

Roofer850channel

Comment from : Dizzle Rizzle

Matthew Mineo
Polaris is the Ford of the ATV world they are the best selling because they wear out and break down so bad that they have to be replaced more than the other brands
Comment from : Matthew Mineo

McArthur Motors
Owned a few of these and I have to say brbrThe old arctic cats with the Kawasaki’s were great machines for the price but sad what the new ones were I still enjoy driving a buddies 2017 700 tho brThe grizzly is still the top overall quad in my books … it is truly just the perfect quad If they could somehow drop a twin 800 in there and keep the driving characteristics I think they could be a top three all day Can am’s 1000 is a ton of power and truly is a beast but is also very heavy and I dislike the heat along with shifter and transmission But honestly everyone’s options is different and it’s extremely hard to pick a good machine
Comment from : McArthur Motors

rooster 69
im a die hard honda fanmy wife and i decided on two four wheelers instead of a sxs i bought hers firstit was a canam max 450 im so impressed im going to skip the rubicon and get an outlander xmr 850
Comment from : rooster 69

Todd and Angel Browning
I’ll stay with Can Am in s x s and Honda in atv
Comment from : Todd and Angel Browning

FireRisinWithin
A 550/570 size twin from honda would be a pretty big deal and would probably bring a huge amount of customers back to the brand, even if it didn't quite have the power of other makes
Comment from : FireRisinWithin

Kelly Hayward
Kinda surprised CanAm Renegade hasn't released a long travel version yet
Comment from : Kelly Hayward

Gregory Parrott
It is a shame that none of the Japanese manufacturers offer an ATV for those of us who want a 1000, or minimum of an 850brHonda modified their long proven, 1000 CC 'Africa Twin' motorcycle engine for use in their Pioneer UTV (and I think the Talon UTV as well) brI hope Honda will modify that same engine, but this time for ATVs 1000 CC, Twin clutch transmission, and Honda reliability??!I'd buy that in a heartbeatbrAs for Arctic Cat / Textron, I've owned two Arctic Cats never again Additionally those I've spoken with newer (Textron) owners They STILL speak of poor reliability and service
Comment from : Gregory Parrott

Outlaw 2177
Honda used to be number 1now they are just about last geezzz hondawake da fak up
Comment from : Outlaw 2177

865fishing
Lots of people think canam’s are way more expensive but in reality they have the best value with a 450 at 6,500

yamaha grizzly vs Outlander 850xtp other than annual maintenance the only thing my old grizzly 550 has needed replaced in the last 6 years and 10,000 k's is the battery, would the outlander match that?
Comment from : Abel Harland

Christopher Beaumont
Finding the right ATV for you is definitely an personal journey My grizzly 700 with the 708 engine is awesome It does everything I want I have 6000 miles on it in 4 years hammering through the bush lands of Northwestern Zambia So much fun!

c krakra
I've rocked it with yamahas Hondas arctic cats and can ams Can am is my favorite the clutching horsepower and ride quality is what made me look past the couple problems I found But I'm a trail rider, I use an old rhino to hunt and I dint have alot of yard or farm work to do with an atv so the outlander is my go to
Comment from : c krakra

Just bought my second Honda The first was a Honda Foreman Rancher years ago! Loved it! Now I purchased the Honda Foreman Rincon 520 manual shift and love it! Hopefully I’ll get the same service as I got with my first Honda!
Comment from : Tommy Horne

Alain G
The strange thing in Europe is that japanese ATV/UTV are made in USA, but american brands (Polaris and Can Am) are made inPoland!brThat's why they are much cheaper than japanese brands, and street legal conform to european regulations straight from the factory
Comment from : Alain G

Polaris makes and sells more because they break down so much people go and buy another one every other year lol people who bought honda 300 fourtrax are mostly all still riding them and don't need a new machine and the same goes with Yamaha big bears kodiak and grizzley
Comment from : Tony Cowger

Farming in the 570
Very fair comparison of the major brands, I’ve got a 1999 arctic cat 300 which is basically the same as a 300 king quad Suzuki and I love the thing bought it from a local farmer to use on our farm and its been reliable as heck
Comment from : Farming in the 570

NightHawk J30
These days its called American Honda Motor LTD your thinking of Honda Motor Co that’s that Japan side Just saying
Comment from : NightHawk J30

spyder000069
Two of my friends have brute force bikes They rarely make it through a ride without a break down Half the rides we go on they miss because they are working on them When they run they are beasts but I would hate to spend half my riding time behind a tow rope My honda's won't wheelie, won't win the sprint, and won't fling mud 20ft up in the air They do however keep my anxiety level low, get me back home, help me enjoy riding instead of wrenching, sip gas, and just need regular maintenance
Comment from : spyder000069

Gator Nation
I have and always will buy Honda Best longevity, best resale I currently own 2 Honda rancher 420's and 2 Honda foreman 520's All are 4x4, IRS and automatic Simply run
