My sterling silver flatware is not tarnished because I use it everyday! Most people call ALL flatware, silverware, which is wrong Everyday flatware is stainless I learned a long time ago from the elders in my family, that by using your SILVERWARE, hand wash it after use, dry it and put it away you will hardly ever need to poslish it Comment from : Patsy Williams |

BIG MISTAKE! DO NOT PUT RUBBER BANDS ON SILVERWARE! I did that when I was a kid, thought I was helping mom! Well those rubber bands made a big tarnish ring around the silver ware! NOT an easy fix! --- but great video! Good luch! Comment from : RD On The Road - |

I see 16 thumbs down but I like what you're doing I have vintage kitchenware and while I'm okay on silverware at the moment, I'm looking for both ceramic dishes and steel pots and pans to match my existing cookware I'm sure that many people are doing this, and will pay a premium for exact matches In particular I'm looking for a 10 or 12" covered Revereware skillet, which will set me back $50 unless I can find one somewhere Kitchenware lasts forever and as far as I'm concerned retains its usefulness for 100 years or more if well taken care of Comment from : John Gotts |

if there are 150 or so of each s/k/f you could rent them for weddings / events, or sell directly to a catering company when I have had stuff in volume like silverware, I found that I could get the most out of it by donating it for the tax deduction most shelters are wanting these kind of things so they are not reliant on single use items Comment from : David Imel |
