Bro U using the idea of ocean I feel you the idea of wares as how water are moving from very slow pace to a very fast pace its really ideal way which we don't have to understand how the song pattern works It all about how we use the idea of water to feel the songs Bro great job, and keep on posting and like the idea, the technique which you are applying💯❤️❤️💯🔥 Comment from : Lei Haihavu |
Steve The image of the ocean’s ebb and flow paints a musical awakening As for me, it counters the constant inner voice that says a missed strum is a failedperformance But your lesson reminds that a missed strum is a good thing Thank you Sir Comment from : Freddie Lerma |
This concept of ocean strumming is so much better than being specific about patterns Comment from : Joe Bermuda |

How do I get my strumming hand to relax? Comment from : Joanne Cavanaghs |
I'm not knocking the actual lesson but there are no 'Secrets' in music, That is totally the wrong attitude to teaching Making out that learning music is about knowing secrets is so detrimental to students learning, Imagine picking up a guitar for the first time and being told the reason you can't do something is because you don't know the secret or trick Again I have to say I'm not knocking the actual lesson here, the ocean analogy is really good, it makes perfect sense and I agree with the explanation 100 Comment from : Terence A |

super helpful ! yes monotone is boring and the most amazing songs have powerful emotions at core they were written because the writer had some intense emotional experience and he expresses it through music, sound i loved how you explain it made it clear in my mind let the emotion/song energy drive the strumming pattern not just play like a robot Comment from : Sebastian Andrei Stefan |

It's so apt that you used the metaphor of waves and the ocean, because strumming that way on muted strings immediately sounded to me like waves lapping the underside of a boat, or a dock So natural and mesmerizing! Comment from : Chris McKnight |
