This game and 25th Anniversary both need to be remastered with up-to-date graphics and re-released Comment from : Lord Publius |
I wish GOG also sold FInal Unity I checked they do still sell Judgement Rites and 25th Anniversary I bought those a few years ago Comment from : fucheduck |
One thing I don’t like is the programmers changing the transporter sound effects and changing the bridge design in this game as well as its predecessor The games are cool but why the transporter sound effects and bridge design changes? Comment from : Patrick Wilson |
This is a very impressive Star Trek OS game for it's time The story blows most of today's games out of the water Comment from : Shredneck |
Combine The Complete Original TV Series with The Animated Series and these two games, all of which seeming like a 4th and 5th season of the original TV show Comment from : Patrick Wilson |
This looks so much cooler than I expected it to Comment from : Kontarek |
Captain Klarr should be canon He is a very interesting Klingon Very well written for one that is only seen for such a short time Kind of sad that he is considering "Beta Canon" and likely forgotten (In my defensedidn't even know this game was real until now Can't say I regret not playing it I was like 5 years old and didn't have a computer in 1993) Comment from : Qardo |
If you count the cancelled secret of Vulcan Fury or not this was the final time DeForest Kelley played Dr McCoy and the final time the entire cast of TOS did a star trek project Comment from : TheDarkwingj |
The intro scene with the Alexander is ridulously gripping I played this when it came out and it's been cemented into my memory ever since Comment from : Ground Tank |
The floor isn't alive, Jim! Comment from : Chris P Bacon |
This was a great game I never made it past the first space station though hahh couldn't quite figure it out never realized just how much more of the game there was I had this on the 35" disks, it didn't have the voice acting missed out on a lot on this game Comment from : tiberiius |
Bought this yesterday … this is better than all the new shitty Star Trek tv series put together Comment from : spagzs |

This was as good as the TV show Comment from : Steven Burrell |
I loved this game as a kid I sucked at it But I have great memories playing it (And cmon, full voice overs in 1993 Many games nowadays don’t even have that) Comment from : apcsox |
I had this game as a young kid I was so mad that I couldn't ever figure out how to get out of the Brig on the first level LOL Comment from : Jocko Adams |
Is this some type of a joke? I don't get it Comment from : Mike Jardin |
I now realize why the Vardaine gun had about as much destructive power as Starkiller Base WITHOUT the need of an entire modified planet to serve as its shell: the Vardaine gun had the benefit of the proto-universe phenomenon to help power it; whereas the First Order did not have the benefit of a proto-universe phenomenon; and therefore, its Starkiller Base weapon was so inconceivably immense that it literally needed a PLANET to serve as its shell The specific planet was Ilum -- where many a Jedi entered its crystal caves to obtain the kyber crystals that their lightsabers needed The absence of a proto-universe phenomenon in the Star Wars galaxy was also why Starkiller Base had to literally drain stars of their energy in order to power its destructive weapon Comment from : Jeff Zebert |
Aside from the infamous "sabotage" outtake, you can tell Shatner is completely mailing it in here, making no effort to try and sound like he did in the 1960's The rest of the cast, Nimoy in particular, are trying their hardest to give a quality performancebrbrNot that may be partly because Shatner had the most lines, so he probably burned out pretty fast and just wanted to get the whole thing over with as quickly as possible Comment from : ShadowWinger99 |
You sure you got enough mid roll ads? Comment from : The Internet |
Did anyone notice that the Enterprise bridge here looks similar to the one used on Star Trek Discovery Enterprise?brLooks like Discovery's Enterprise is following a more wider look etc Comment from : Deks Roning |
Können Sie empfehlen Medikamente für Furz und Durchfall? Ich Furz wie eine große Trompete Vollen Klang, wie ein Kaiser Furz Mein Durchfall fließt wie ein Fluss Comment from : Seadweller451D |
23 commercials? Really? Stopped immediately, set a bad flag Get lost with this 🤮 Comment from : Ulrich Rath |
A lot of wonderful banter, mostly between McCoy and Spock The animation is like ST:TOS meets King's Quest V This is also enjoyable just listening to, like a radio play Thank you for putting the video up and never removing it Comment from : Monkof Magnesia |
This has to be one of the best games ever made Everything from the voice acting, story, "sets", etc are spot on Comment from : Eric Geiple |
This was one heck of a great game Too bad "Secret of Vulcan Fury" never happened and became vaporware Comment from : Marty McDonough |
Any place you can play it online I've tried some of the sites that claim to have it, but none of them work Comment from : Jason Nabors |
I never realized just how much more work they put into Judgment Rites over 25th Anniversary More complicated puzzles and much longer missions! I love that this exists, but there's not much emotion in these performances from the actors unfortunately Comment from : Adam Cartwright |

Timeless Awesomeness! Comment from : ChaotiX Trekker |
One thing that kind of took me out of the moment was the voices You'd think that'd immerse me, and it does, but the problem is that they all sound too oldbrbrI know there was nothing they can do about that, but you have a bunch of 60 and 70-year olds playing 35-40 year oldsbut their voices have changedwhich does not sync well with memories You remember the exact way each character sounded in the show, and it doesn't match herebrbrThis isn't as big an issue in the movies because they are playing older characters, but when going back to the show, you can tell the differencebrbrBut the game is still impressive, and hey, since they don't actually need to film anything, they can be WAY more ambitious here Comment from : Jordafflyn |
16:40 - Just casually lying face down on the floor "I hate when they do that Jim why does everyone not like me? Why does everyone keep shooting at me?" - Poor McCoy xD Comment from : Joey Lock |
I'm playing the first mission and do everything as it is done here and I still can't get a perfect score, I don't understand what I'm missing :/ Comment from : Jen |
Fantastic, especially for 1993! Still shocked that TNG A Final Unity was only 1995 Comment from : Guy Gadbois |

I had this game as well as the other one like it but a bit shorter 'Star Trek: 25th Anniversary' I played and beat the later, but unfortunately, I could never get Judgment Rites to run :( Comment from : Captain Obvious |
I'd love it if they remastered this game! Comment from : Michael |
Is trelane a Q? Comment from : jerome |
I just re-played this, a while ago Good timesbrbrI also managed a perfect score playthrough this time, 4 points in all missions ^_^ Comment from : Ray Vertti |
Interesting playthrough, never saw this one I'm particularly struck by the attitudes in Though This Be Madness Written over twenty years ago and already showing a great deal of concern about the over-reliance on medication-based treatment for psychological problems The overarching theme of "out of sight, out of mind" isolation of the mentally ill and developmentally challenged is delivered in a clumsy way, but it predicted the ridiculous extent of the problem we're seeing these days Comment from : Rich McGee |
Wow Comment from : antwan1357 |
13:33 Heh Generic engineering I'd say that was Kelley's misread, but that's how it's spelled in the text as well Comment from : Hammerest |
lol McCoy cracked up on the sentence at 5:04:05 and they still used it in the game Comment from : Requinix17 |
That was one of the most fantastic games I've ever seen, truly a great Star Trek game though the ship to ship combat sections were a little simple, and the fight against Trelane was way too long (Not by fault of the player but more by fault of the "hit points" of Trelane's shields) in my opinionbrbrAn absolutely awesome longplay! Thanks for the upload! Comment from : linkeffect82 |
RIP Spock Comment from : Gothiczartan |
"Glorious Pebbles?" Comment from : LtDavidB312 |

I really miss Interplay and games of this time They were small teams working on things they loved instead of huge companies that are only interested in how much money they can milk from a title It was a great time to be a gamer I have this and 25th still on my machine today and they are still fun to play Comment from : WarlordATF |
20 years later - 1000 games later - this is still one of the best I ever played
And puts later supposed starship games to shame
Just listen to the descriptions of the things in the museum - real sci-fi worldbuilding!!! Comment from : LazarusRemains |
Outstanding! I have to agree this was an excellent game, combining both player skill and knowledge, so unlike of many today's games, that are shoot em ups, or straight linear linear stories Just glad I was fortunate to play :) Comment from : TheBlackSheep |
Its like watching missing episodes of the original series, well almost but as close as we are ever going to get Thanks for posting Comment from : hamanu666 |
It's a pity that television and movie based video games today can't do what Judgement rights could do 20 years ago, get the entire ORIGINAL cast together to create a game that felt like you really were part of a Star Trek mission Gad I love this game
Comment from : SarcyseTiranin |
3:28:25 Interplay did a great job breaking the 4th wall Comment from : Kenneth Rogers |
You must have had the floppy version in that case Comment from : Kenneth Rogers |

Ah! Shatner and his pronounciation of "sabatoge" Comment from : Monkof Magnesia |
The voice acting plus the attractive graphics and storytelling make this game look it holds up pretty damn well over the years They could release this now in HD versions of the old 2D art (like they did with Monkey Island) and it would be fantastic Comment from : IamSpacedad |
Interesting how the sound effects for the bridge and what not are Midi is that just the way it was made? or is there a different version? Comment from : B-MAN |
They actually left in some bloopers? XD
"that might restrict her adult pattern creation-representation cap *snrk*" Comment from : Edgewalker001 |
The manual would have came with the game, and you need the map for the copy protection Comment from : Kisai |
I'm afraid I can't help you, I've got my original game CD and it just worked fine Comment from : L-1011 Widebody |
How did you get the voices to work?
I recently download the cd collection game and everything is working but the voices in dosbox 074 Comment from : Eugene Lim |
I know that this is probably a pretty dumb question, but what are the controls to this game?
I finally got it to work with DOSbox but I can't figure out the controls How do I pause this game, how do I save, how do I simply open the menu?
I can't find a single place online where someone simply says how you play this game Comment from : MrZkinandBonez |
