I'm 65 and have ridden off and on,(mainly off), for several years I have a skating enclosure like your using You absolutely need a unicycle with a taller seat Your knees are way to bent and it's the hardest way to ride That's why you ankles hurt

I always tell people that they are not allowed to fall backwards ever Not only for safety but because falling forward is how you first start to ride, you don't need to learn to lean backwards until you start learning to stall in one place

Couple of other fun circus skills you "learn" within an afternoon, and spend the rest of your life mastering:brbrbrRubik's Cubes and Juggling Both are very easy, but have HUGE room to master Some people can even do both at once ;)
