I use PayPal's Savings account which is FDIC insured via Synchrony Bank 430APR which I hear is going to 450 next month I use PayPl for most of all my purchases and financial transactions, so have a SAvings account and not just the regular PayPal balance is a huge benefit I also use PayPal's Credit and Debit card which are easily managed through the single PayPal sign-in

Was hoping you'd mention SOFI They are a relatively new bank but pay 45, which is significantly higher than the current 425 at Ally (as of 8/25) A few cool features that I'd like to see you evaluate I'll be checking out CIT for sure though, great video!

I’m curious why you didn’t mention Yotta 👀 I’ve earned over $130 over the course of 12 Months (including purchases i won for free by using my Yotta Debit Card) The more you use your Yotta Debit Card to complete a transaction, the higher the likelihood of getting that purchase for free Yotta actually makes saving fun with their daily prize drawings as well (used to be weekly) Yotta’s APY is only about 025 but, that number goes WAAAAAAY up when you win those daily drawings Yotta (Evolve Bank & Trust) is FDIC insured up to $250k

The problem with the top 1 is they use savebetter company (a third party company) As a software engineer, I dont believe that website poor design, no actual app on mobile phone Not a good choice for me I store all my money in Discover and Apple Saving because reaching FDIC insurance But I highly recommend Discover because you also get 200$ bonus if you deposit at least 25k

I recently switched my savings account from one making 02 to one that was tiered based on balance brbrIts still not a "high yield" like sofi or ally, but the total of my balance is at about 25 now and I just checked my statement It was only $8 this month in interest, but that's way better than a few pennies brbrIts too important to me to have access immediately so I haven't made the leap to some if those non-tiered high yields

if any bank pay more interest than short term treasury bill, do not put your money there There must be a reason why they offer higher interest rate to attract deposit your money probably won't be safe Even you have less than FDIC insured amount, the trouble of getting your money back after bank going bankrupt will be very time consuming, it is probably not worth the extra 1

Actually this is bad advise - Guys gals don't put your money in savings so other banks can profit from your money and make well over 3-4 in stocks with it When you can make that money by investing in stocks yourself There is absolutely no benefit in 3-5 saving account when you make make thousands in a year of holding a stock - market down plz invest your saved money in stocks instead
