I learned on a Suzuki TU250 and a Kawasaki KLX 250 dual sport on my MSF Shifting gears, especially downshifting, was always difficult for me, given the bulky hiking boots I was wearing Included that the Suzuki had some teething trouble with either the shifter or a sticky clutch, as I found that I really had to heave on the shifter (clutch pulled in) to shift through the gears However, the Kawasaki shifted through all its gears like butter, and the clutch was smooth and featherlight brbrGreat video! This is a great video and I have learned a few things that made me even more confident about riding, I’ve been trying to see how he operates the clutch whilst looking at how much mph he is going (but I’m having trouble seeing when he’s holding and fully releasing the clutch) but what a great video!!! Comment from : wesley francis |

I’ve passed my test a couple month ago luckily but I’m viewing this now because I’ve never known what to do slowing down with the gears etc it’s like my instructor didn’t really care as long as I was safe and not bothering other road users hence watching this Comment from : chris b |

Great video, better than many quick fire CBT courses no doubt But i'm surprised more people don't just do the DAS on say a powerful Auto Honda So much to think about as a beginner to biking, gearing down for every junction Arguably much safer with just twist 'n' go, not having to worry about stalling or skidding at roundabouts As you say, many of the 125 manuals don't even have rev counters or even show you what gear you're in It feels sketchy! Comment from : Janet_Bristow |
|
Damn, this video makes it sound so simple! Will be watching the rest of the learning videos before I get my CBT and bike sorted! Comment from : Kane Smith |
