In the UK the pay is abysmal considering the types of cases you manage, the amount of cases you have to manage( bloody joke) It's awful here in London, staff turn over is so bad I would have left during the training but I have outside commitments but it's a tough job and I commend you

I applied to be a po for my state but I am also in my states army national guard thats going to be challenging to balance I get the state benefits already through the national guard The only thing I am fortunate the state waived my tuition for both my bachelors and masters and military insurance and va home loan But here in Florida po starts of at 33,420 a year so I am going to have to stay in the Florida Army National guard as a side hustle

I'm currently using my GI Bill to get my Bachelor's in criminal justice After that I plan on working for TDCJ as a probation officer myself I think the state of Texas has some amazing benefits compared to some other states but I do think the paper could be a little bit better for cos and pos Do you have any advice for me this far as training goals and once I get to my duty location? Do I get to pick certain locations like with the correctional officer or is it different?

In Michigan, parole officer's start around 2200 per hour with no experience Not bad but Im trying to max at around 35 per hour after some years experience and advancement towards administration or at a high executive level in Criminal Justice
