I play a mixture of ProV1x and Bridgestone Tour XS and lately prefer the Bridgestone! Comment from : ETHAN GOUDE TV |
Have just discovered this clip, had no idea JD signed with B I have just returned to golf after having 2 years off only to discover my belovered WS Duo Professional has been shelved and now I have started playing the B RXS (61 compression) and love it so far I can attack the pin and often get comments now on how did I create so much spin! Only had 2 rounds but it's in the bag now Comment from : Bob Denelzen |
Bridgestone for life! Comment from : Kgm |

The first Bridgestone ball I purchased was the Tour B RX, and that was about 2 weeks ago I like them! I can't make a ball backspin on the green but when I hit the green I get one bounce and stop 2 days ago, hit 8 iron 160, landed 3ft from the pin, and the ball divot was just 1ft from where it stopped So when this model has pretty good stopping power with irons Next, I'm going to try the Tour B XS Off-topic, I also like the Srixion Z Star It goes far, straight and stops like the B RX Comment from : Greg Cordle |
TaylorMadeTP5 Comment from : JasHarAhmedovski |

Best golf ball brand on the market Comment from : Jay Love |
Maxfli balls are the best value Comment from : TallCoolDrink |
I play a lot of mini golfbrGot to say that high spin balls are not suitable as they bounce off side walls to fastbrYellow Volvik seem to be best ball, however grand daughter always has a good score using a bright red no name ball Comment from : Geoff Cohen |
Bridgestone are just not as durable as the others Comment from : starflash08 |
The best golf ball won't help your score if your swing is offIt's not the ball Comment from : Dan kool |
Bridgestone is Gangsta! Comment from : Daryll Jefferson |
Bridgestone is my favorite It just simply flies farther off my tee shots My short game sucks so not sure how it does for chipping🤣 Comment from : Apollo |
Amateurs will spend 45 dollars on a box to maybe gain 5 strokes and loose 5 dollars a hole in skins instead of working on their contact! Time after time I see an old timer shoot 90 with whatever while a youngster shoots a 110 but maybe hit a couple 280 and thinks the 50 box is worth it Comment from : Joseph Rostkowski |
Pinnacle is the best don’t blame the ball blame yourself 😂😂😂😂 Comment from : Joseph Rostkowski |
I've just gone over to the B RXS and love 'em Nice and soft feel and don't scuff up And I feel the same way about the B on the ball I'd rather see a name lol! Comment from : Robert Smith |
Sorry to hear about Jason days mother If it wasn't for her Jason wouldn't be the person he is Love goes out to the family Comment from : Robert Miller |
Play Kirklands, absolutely best all around ball for the cost 18$ a dozen and feel, spin, and flight are almost prov1 quality Comment from : Haggaman |
Rick is spot on with vis a vis the B logo- it is ugly (as Rick said, matter of personal taste) My opinion, when Bridgestone had the E5, 6, 7 series, they looked awesome & performed as well If it's between B and Pro V1 or even TP5's, I'm not buying Bridgestone Comment from : james ARSENEAU |
Taylor made Comment from : Pc racer |
Golfers would be staggered if they knew which brands are Toll manufactured by other brands and or which leading brands all use the same ball manufacturer in China Comment from : Geoff Cohen |
Srixon - all of them Comment from : Chris Wilson |
Fuzz is the best golf ball Noodle is second best for me I have hole-in-one with both balls; however, I shoot best overall with Fuzz Comment from : Thonati m |
Literally didn't talk about different golf balls 🙄 Comment from : Johnny Cashh |
nitros definitely win this debate Comment from : caleb carr |
Srixon are brilliant Comment from : David Steel |
Honestly I play Vice Pro because it's 90 of the performance of a ProV1/TP5/Bridgestone for 30 cheaper, not including the discount of ordering directly from Vice Given how many I lose after playing for only 4 months, playing $4+/ball is just painful every time I hit a bad shot Comment from : A OHara |
I heard Kirkland is made nearly the same as the best golf balls (pro v1) Comment from : A Tn |
I like title list to golf balls myself and calloways Comment from : Mad American Patriot |
I feel like a blind test should be done when trying to rank golf balls because I feel like knowing the brand could affect your physiology and how you handle the ball Comment from : Miguel9590 |
Honma make the best balls Comment from : fredatemypie |
Bryson does have a ball its the tour b x Comment from : Dave Peterson |
The Nike balls that Tiger used years ago were made by Bridgestone The plant is in my hometown and a friend of mine works there I still have some he gave me Just have the swoosh on them Comment from : chris webb |
Bridgestone does make good golf balls but I prefer Taylormade Comment from : Robert W |
Played TP5 for the last two seasons but made the switch to the Tour B-XS Mainly for the spin numbers around the greens Feels very soft and light TP5 feels “heavier” in comparison, as if the ball is waterlogged Comment from : Peter Kang |
Bridgestone's naming system is pure shite Comment from : Evan Paul Smith Falcon Fogolin |
Being a recreational golfer, I’ve never hit a bad golf ball Most of us can’t really even tell the difference if we’re being honest Comment from : Versys 777 |
I think TITLEIST has the best gold balls because of the PRO V1 Comment from : luvxtheo |
See the thing is for the consumer, srixon is the best priced vs performance out therebrBridgestone is really up there for the pros especially being the price for a dozen Comment from : vksputnik |
I find the Bridgestone B XS is the best golf ball on the planet IF you are a 5 handicap or less, or are a very good ball striker Why? Cause they give you virtuosic control over spin and feel around the greens, it also gives you ultimate control over your shot shaping BUT the catch is, with that extra control, which comes from more spin, your misses will be Amplified because of that So your big misses get bigger cause the ball responds so faithfully to what you give it Most players will play better with a harder less spinny ball because it will make their big misses smaller while sacrificing a bit of greenside feel and shot shaping ability Comment from : Jordan McGinnis |
I don’t buy balls just go walk the course and look in the weeds you’ll find plenty and save cash! Comment from : RJMB |
The best ball is the tiger woods Bridgestone There’s no debate The tp5 and pro v are also always amAzing Bridgestone (tiger version) goes furthest Reacts the best around the greens Comment from : Cure Liberalism🎗️ |
Love Bridgestone! Only ball I play! Comment from : Brian Moore |
Srixon Soft feel or an AD333 is my favourite as an high handicapper Comment from : stephen port |
Taylormade TP5 for distance Srixon Soft feel for approach Comment from : Far2D2 |
The dimples on Bridgestone look so weird They’re like square Srixon has the most clsssic looking dimples Comment from : Fo |
Recently switched to the e12 Contact, really like it so far, we will see how it does on firm greens this summer Comment from : Russ Furchner |
For me, Snell balls just get it done well I’m always trying other brands but I always go back to the MTB X Comment from : Gregg Schultz |
Bridgestone stone tour b XS… after your review I tried them last year My handicap dropped 8 using this ball Or maybe it was all the practice I put in… love this ball! Comment from : Gydez |
I agree with the B logo it looks cheap Comment from : karen Crittenden |
Got a doz tiger bstone for Christmas Comment from : Doug Seaberg |
Yes I have tried Bridgestones tour series ball and they are good but I found Srixon z-star diamond to perform best for me Comment from : Jonathan Michaud |
Guys, if you know your swing speeds you can literally look at the back of the box and it shows you a guide for your potential ball to go with I've tried them all but for me I play the Tour B RX, amazing all around ball at least for me I have been dabbling with the Seed Pro1 and those are excellent golf balls as well and let's mention Snell MTB Black golf balls to be in the mix as well Comment from : Christopher Shell |
I've always used tp5x balls for tournaments personally, but i got a tournament in a few weeks, I'd be willing to give Bridgestone a go, I could use all the help I can get Comment from : Jordan Martinka |
Shoutout Snell Golf Comment from : Daniel Haley |
Bridgestone balls are great, I found one interesting thing though after playing it for a while, into even the softest breeze, they hold up a lot more than a Pro-V1 Comment from : Richard Owen |
I love the Bridgestone RXS It’s the lower swing speed spinier model Feels soft Great control around the greens My wedges can stop on a dime and even get a little back spin when hit well Great ball overall would recommend to anyone Comment from : Smoochie Wallace |
When it comes to the top premium ball for the big ball manufacturers, Titleist, Callaway, Taylormade, Bridgestone, and Srixon, they all have have great products For the average golfer, Bridgestone makes a great line of options that preform quite well As someone who works in a golf store, I can tell you first hand, a lot golfers use the wrong ball for their game Comment from : LoikePalenikonu |
It's odd to me that I've always played more consistently with a Bridgestone ball They seem to be just half a tick better than the competition To my knowledge, though I could be pretty far off, Bryson's ball is the standard Tour BX I've heard that he had a big hand in designing the ball (at least the new one), similar to Tiger's designing and play of the standard Tour BXS I wonder if Jason day is playing a standard ball or a tour-specific offering, though I wouldn't doubt that he does have tour-specific ball Regardless, Bridgestone's engineering teams can make a great ball! Comment from : Bryce Smith |
I’ve only played Bridgestone balls that I’ve found in the woods My personal favorite ball is the tp5 I prefer it to tp5x as well Just the spin and workability around the green is what I prefer The feel to me on chips and putts is perfect Also great off the tee Comment from : Faisal Quadri |
I had my 4th hole in one yesterday in my family golf tournament using the TIGER Bridgestone ball Solid distance, great spin and feel No complaints Doesn’t hurt that my last name is Bhatia so the big B is almost a signature for me Comment from : Shaan Bhatia |
Bridgestone have too many tour balls out, I never know which one is for me so I avoid them I know where I am with Titleist, TM and Callaway balls Comment from : Paul Wrigley |
i played the XS (tiger ball) all through 2020 and absolutely loved it wish they were a little more durable but MAN they’re incredible currently playing the TP5 the new cover that came out last year i feels so much like that XS ball a big improvement for the TP5/TP5x series Comment from : Ryan Woods |
THE TOUR B XS IS THE BEST LONG BALL THE TOUR B X LONGER THAN TITLEIST PRO V1-X Comment from : Rockn24 W |
RZN Comment from : Suhail Joosub |
I use Bridgestone Tour B XS or Srixon Z Star Titliest Pro V1's are obviously a great ball, but cannot buy at prices of the first two 👌🏼 Comment from : Neil Bennett |
Hi Rick I use bridgestone e12 contact and I love them as I have a slow swing speed But also I like the B as on the tee I set it up to help me keep my body still on my back swing Comment from : stephen denton |
Video should be called: "Bridgestone Pro ball review" Comment from : Cory Heyl |
Wilson Comment from : Derrick Forsythe |
bprice/b in Canada is a part of the problem for sure Comment from : Rej Normandin |
You didn’t talk about what ball is best… Comment from : Goodstuff |
You know Bridgestone are doing something right when titelist marketing bashes them Comment from : mako1134 |
Bridgestone ball are good but not always easy to buy, still think Titleist take some beating, why do most players play Titleist not Bridgestone? Comment from : Seve Sellors |
I play Wilson Duo Soft golf balls I'm a classic golfer, with persimmon woods, forged blades, and a Bulls Eye putter The Duo Softs feel best on classic clubs, like the old Titleist Tour Balatas the pros used to play back in the day Comment from : stratovani |
I put some new wedges in the bag 18 months ago and they did not get along with tp5x around the greens Desperate for something softer I tried for tiger version in I absolutely loved it It felt better in all departments Especially on and around the greens I will not be changing unless they make it better somehow Comment from : Darren Loder |
Yes the B on the balls is not appealing to me I would much rather use any other balls if they make new ball design I would definitely buy them Comment from : Bailey Horlock |
I use Bridgestone and best balls I’ve ever used Comment from : Adrian Bugg |
I personally prefer the Callaway chromesoft truvis (soccer ball) I don’t really swing hard so the lower compression rating really helps me And they feel amazing from the tee to the green Comment from : Tj |
Titleist are still the best I’ve played all the others, hoping to find a ball as good that’s cheaper, but nope Titleist #1 Comment from : William Sandoval |
Kirkland all day!! Comment from : MaloLalo95 |
One of the reasons I started playing Bridgestone balls consistently around 10 years ago was because no one really played them It was different, it was never “What number is it?” And, to this day, I still don’t get it But I have settled in on Bridgestone Tour BX I have tried ChromeSoft X, ProV1X, TP5X, Vice, Z Star XV None of them felt like the Bridgestone Durability is spot on, quality is spot on, consistent and comfortable Unless something changes, I foresee the Bridgestone ball in my ball for a long long time Comment from : Daniel Reedy |
Prov1, Bridgestone on par TP5 good but covers scuff quicker, Srixon premium for value is the best if you are a 12+ handicap Comment from : messemcee |
No rumours about Nike balls being made by Bridgestone - Tiger said so when he first signed with Bridgestone Comment from : stephen carlin |
Hey Rick and Guy, love the show Not sure about UK, but here in the states most golf shops have as much Bridgestone merchandise as other ball manufacturers As a single-digit handicap, I’ve played the BXS TW and I feel they are phenomenal But I’m with Guy, I tend to always gravitate back to a Titleist Just something about that iconic script logo 🤷🏼♂️ Comment from : Timothy DePetris |
Bridgestone should put their full name on the ball and use it as the alignment aid Comment from : Kevan |
I've been loving the Srixon Z-Star XV (yellow of course) Comment from : Steve Morman |
