This is not only the best star trek game ever made but a true classic a gem of a game just wish now its been remade and judgement rites but unfortunately most of the actors are sadly gone but you could get a true professional impersonation of them or even use the same voices from the gameEven TNG point and click game was just as good and another gem well that one can be remade wonder why this wasnt'done already as there still here so make it so Comment from : bioshock 69 |
Actually this game can be considered as an actual 4th season of TOS cause this episodes take place furing the 4th year of Enterprise expedition which was not shown in the series during its cancellation To make it even more canon they have the entire Enterprise crew from TOS ( I mean the actors) The game crestors wanted this game to be a lost 4th season of the show Comment from : Tetsuya Tsurugi |
Loved this game Also got it on floppies and I think I still have the box and discs in my mom's house somewhere I love how it lets you both fight starships like a simulator and yet still do quests Really a great hybrid game The scoring part showing you that you could have potentially performed better in your mission choices was ace Comment from : CaseyC Benn |
Combat? Combat?! Combat!! - Combat?? Comment from : Alpha_Kralle |

The prefix code is nothing compared to the blast door code in "The Old Devil Moon" I had never made it that far as a kid and had to look up the answer to it when I played because there was just no way to guess what the code was Comment from : Aggressively Mediocre |
whats the difference between this game and judgement rites? different game? or two different point n clicks? Comment from : Reef Guzzler |

I loved this game when I was a kid It was the last Star Trek PC game I owned for a long time because of issues with Interplay Costumer service refusing to replace one of the Judgment Rites install disks after accidentally packing one of the 25th anniversary disks in place of one of the disks for the copy of Judgment Rites mom and dad got me for ChristmasbrbrOh and Phase II was 70s I believe If I remember right they scrapped Phase II in favor of making the motion picture and later adapted some of the planned Phase II scripts for some early TNG episodesbrbrIts odd that as much as dad and I both love Star Trek I never realized dad died on the 45th anniversary until you pointed out the date of the 50th anniversary Comment from : Rogue Rifter |
the only point n click or adventure space game from that era I have is The Dig, which was decent Its probably on good old games too Comment from : MrVidification |

"Star Trek 25th Anniversary on NES, it's not as good doesn't have the voice acting" And apparently, a different game entirely That's actually a reason to play it as well Don't talk about a game being superior unless it's actually similar enough otherwise Comment from : DoomRater |
I love this game Comment from : Andrew Vrba |
still hate ryan Comment from : Terry |
I just started season 3 of Star Trek brbrIt's some pretty dope shit for being around twice as old as I am Comment from : sirsnafflepuss |

I have to disagree with the telltale comparison the feel of exploration and control are completely different telltale is like a chose your own adventure book sprinkled with qtes ST 25th Anniversary and Judgement Rites have action, exploration, and adventure without feeling like it is on rails Comment from : Christopher Bellar |
Ебать скатился Comment from : Lost |
I think that the graphics are great for a 1981 game !! 8 floppy disk of 144 mb each, it was a f**kin big game for that time !! Same size than Doom II 12 years later !! with a 486 sx 33 and 300 mb of hard drive !! :O Comment from : Dominic Defoy |
Hey Mike, one nitpick and one fun fact, the concept drawing that Discovery is based on is:brA) from an aborted film project called Planet of the Titans, not the Phase II TV series;brB) drawn by the late Ralph McQuarrie, the same guy who designed a lot of the original Star Wars ships including the star destroyer, which his Enterprise (and yeah that WAS supposed to be the refit Enterprise) strongly resembles Comment from : SSand4 |
Ryan and his hair Comment from : å |

Final unity was a really good game Comment from : Mr Cat |
One of my family friends who we called "Aunt June" was probably the biggest Trekker I've ever met in my entire life She had all the original episodes on VHS, had an entire room dedicated to the original series Before she passed away I was lucky enough to receive some knowledge from her She taught me about how Star Trek taught her about tolerance, acceptance, and the quest of knowledge through science Star Trek will forever be a part of my life, and I am so glad to see 50 years later it is still going strong She would be so happy Comment from : DJAmtrak2 |
ahh i loved this game as a kid But I remember finding the space combat extremely difficult, it always ended up with the enemies circling me faster than I could turn to catch up so I couldn't ever see them on screen to hit them Comment from : Daniel G |
the problem with the new star trek series is that it's online only on a subscription based streaming service talk about greedy Comment from : Adam Poole |

The original series did get "less hominid" aliens beyond the Horta - in the animated series, that is! ;) Comment from : JacobSprenger |
There is one major downside to the talkie version compared to the floppy one: Since they also voiced the ship computer, the number of entries had to be drastically cut In the floppy version, there's all kinds of things in reference to happenings in the series that you could ask the computer about Not so in the talkie version [Edit:] Also, they nerved the final battle for the talkie version Bloody scrubs! I've beaten that battle in the floppy version on my 25th try! ;) Comment from : JacobSprenger |
This is a game I personally would interested in seeing you play through, not sure if I speak for others Comment from : lycurgusthelawgiver |
