Thank u for your help I’m new to coin s My wife s Dad is 92 and had to go into nursing home in September So he has given me all his coins Desk Lights Magnifying glasses Books so I’m doing a lot of reading and research He has uncirculated coins A lot of old wheat Pennie’s Very good 1943 Steel Wheat Pennie’s Boxes of coins from banks never opened So I’m trying to add to what he has and make something of his collection Thank u

Here is a perfect example of the Garbage Coin video leading to the confusion over the No S coinsbr wwwyoutubecom/shorts/yAnUe2KQAJYbrbrHe goes to great lengths telling you to search MINT Sets for the 1975 no S dime Only problem is every mint set has a no S Philly minted dime He doesn't seem to know the difference between Mint Sets and Proof Sets and after watching his video neither will his viewers But hey, he has 4000 thumbs up on the video so far brIf you read the comments you will even see comments by excited people who are going to go to coin shops to search for the elusive no S dime in mint sets

Daniel, I know you are busy I am just asking what you think of this idea that a Counterfeit people could use brA 1921 Liberty Walking Half Dollar has 2023 Red Book AU-50 has a price of $2,900, and a 1921-D Red Book has a price of $5,500, or a difference of $2,600, which is considerable brCould a Counterfeiter take some silver and put a "D" mint mark on the Philadelphia coin That way it would come out correct from any test one can give on the coin I am not suggesting you or a Grader would not be able to see the difference with magnification, I am suggesting that if they sold it on Ebay a regular person may not be able to see it from the picture I have a 1921 and 1921 D copy coin I bought from Ebay years ago for $175 each, and the Chinese factory had a Copy in the description, yet they forgot to put Copy on the Copy coin, and they do a pretty good job with just metal coins to fool some? brThat is why my 1921, and 1921S, (do not have a "D" yet), are low graded coins from PCGS I am afraid of getting a Counterfeit when we are talking about so much money
