Well, thank you! brI did have one psychiatrist (he had the degrees, and the certification/license) tell me I couldn't possibly have ASD because I laughed at jokes so often during our sessions, displayed a high level of intelligence, and could communicate clearly brI haven't seen him for years brHe also prescribed unlimited amounts of ambien and Klonopin, so, draw your own conclusions

Just want to clarify about 'communication difficulties' - like many autistic people they largely dissipate if I am allowed a different form of communication which doesn't come with the same intensity - ie email or text conversations have enabled me to have successful interactions with clients when a verbal one would have been fraught with misunderstanding and anxiety for both of us
