WHY is this side-hustle called “Donation” when one is getting paid? I understand when people give blood to get money when they need some extra cash but that’s call selling I’ve been donating plasma at my local blood center for years - for FREE! Yes it used to b to help sick people as well as blood but now they barley give u money for it which we should do it for free but the extra cash helps but they turn around n make thousands of one bag of plasma instead of giving it to people n hospital for free they charge them for something that was donated n now letting people drink it n restaurant n not giving it to sick

Yes! Again as you said time is $ we do get caught up in that part However we are helping people to Praise God I am able to use my Visa as a savings account In less than 3yrs I've saved almost 8k on a card It's worth it to me I spend the hour catching up on Notary updates and sermon videos And others benefit from my donation 😊

I somewhat a new donor at Grifols plasma in Birmingham Alabama Ive done it between 7-8 times If your a new donor you get $125 for your first two times and $100 the two times after After those 4 times You can only do it 2 times a week The first time you go for the week its $50 and $75 the second I recommend you take iron pills and drink water

I just signed up with BioLife and my first appointment is tomorrow!!! The closest facility is only 6 minutes away from my house and only the first appointment takes 2 hours each donation appointment is only an hour! I signed up through a link that is supposed to give me $950 in the first month! ❤❤❤

Customer Service MUST be at least 4 stars!! brbrI used to donate to Red Cross in Maryland but at some point the nurses/work staff got careless with how they were treating the donors to the point where one of the nurses jammed a needle in my arm so damn hard it literally hit a nerve I haven't been back to that location since but I do still want to donate Hopefully Pennsylvania customer service at donor sites are better

Is it worth it? from a patient who has a rare Immunodeficiency that can only be controlled with IVIG (each infusion requires plasm from 50-100,000 donors) I can say first hand that it is worth everything It saves my life Thank you to those who donate and help give me a chance to live

I just started plasma donations with grifols It's definitely worth it! I do all the other side hustles and after the initial visit it is by far the most per hour sode hustle without a passenger worthy car I made $250 my first week and I'm make $115 a week after If say it averages to about $23/hr A huge downfall is your health For example I went once and my blood pressure was too high, so I couldn't donate My first time I threw up There are many criteria for successful donation

It is worth it A lot of good comes from donating CSL in a Chicago suburb, is $50 the first time during the week and $65 the second time during the week AFTER the first month with bonuses Also, it only takes me about an hour to 1½ Timing is everything I go around 8:45 am and I'm usually out by 10 - 10:15brAnd everyone won't take the same amount of time because lighter weight people don't donate as much Hydration is the key to a fast and easy donation

Ive done this and would warn against it if you have any options In many cases it will drain you of real energy, energy you could be using to feel great in or out of work bettering yourself Whole time i did it i got constant jokes from coworkers that i looked like a vampirebrIts not a bad thing morally or ethically or whatever, but id seriously warn against it While doing it you can easily end up feeling decades not years older

For people with the least resources, like no car, or enough money for gas to do gig work Plasma is the most accessible Most centers are located in areas with public transportation When I was out of work in 2017/18 I used to get 25 the first donation and 40 the second However small, that got me on the bus for the classes and a few groceries I was really struggling It was a life line for me Now I do it to allow myself to save my paycheck and use plasma money for flexible spending like food, gas, etc

The nice thing about plasma donation is that it is tax free There is no tax form that you receive at the end of the year So, when you consider the "pre tax" amount, you are making quite a bit more That being said, the destruction to your veins might not be worth it in the long run as a side hustle

It's not worth it if it's under $100 per give I don't know how y'all think it's worth $35-$40 If you bail on give #2 twice, they can just turn you away It's their right So the incentive is giving twice a week, for a good fee Otherwise it's not worth it
