I found your channel after completing my first donation I had that horrible reaction they warn you about in the risks The Citrate Calcium reaction It was at Biolife and it was a near death experience is the best way I can describe it I felt the center was unprepared and I suffered for several minutes longer than I should have as a result and I dont know if any damage was done to me Its been 4 days and my body still aches and my muscles are extremely sore and I have tightness fo the chest My body locked completely and it was mortifying They had no explanation other than this sometimes happens and maybe you werent quite hydrated enough Im very scared Im a healthy young woman that walks about 4 miles a day and drinks a lot of water Im not sure how much more I could prepare, but Ive since read that a lot of people take Tums with them and chew a couple during donation to avoid Citrate reaction Mine was apparently severe and it happened at the very end of the donation I suffered for over 5 minutes before the machine reversed the calcium back into my body and someone managed to get tums into my clenched jaws even though I couldnt chew Do you have any advice for me ?
