Hi mate, would you recommend the Peak 2 or the Up 2? I plan on solo hiking so would like to keep weight to a minimum However, I also don’t want to feel cramped My worry is that the Up2 will be too small and the Peak2 too big&heavy… but I also like the fact the peak 2 side opens… I can’t decide!!!

The cloud peak 2 is an outstanding budget tent for the money and has sold loads over the years I own this tent, and had amazing memories in it However, at 24 kg (That's 2- half bags of sugar in weight) you soon get tired and fed up caring this around the mountains due to its weight and had to retire this tent due to its weight it's far too heavy I just want to cut a little weight down in summer I use a light weight kit setup and winter my tent choice is the Terra Nova Voyager that is just as roomy and over 400 grams lighter than the Cloud peak-2 and the Voyager is a true winter tent In fact, I mostly use the trusty Terra Nova Voyager 2 at 400 grams lighter all year round just incase of high winds and unexpected weather on mountains With most tents if you go light you lose strength the only exception is the Scarp-1 tent Finding the correct tent is a difficult task indeed because if you go too light-weight it will be horrible in high-winds, getting the best for room, strength and weight is difficult and the only 2- tents I can find that as head room and can be used all year round that can handle most weather is the Terra Nova Voyager and Scarp-1 I mostly use the Terra Nova Voyager all year round for security, Headroom, strength and weight for size for this reason (I will take the weight)brThank you for all you outstanding reviews👍👍👍

Great video, very helpful This does like like a really good tent for the money My only concern is pitching in the wet At the top of the outer tent itself there's a lighter patch right at the top, which will be covered by the smaller panel Is this patch breathable mesh or is it waterproof? Thanks

This is honestly all you need, i can afford an expensive name brand, but your getting the same product it seems, this tent is great for the cost

Nice tent but I still prefer my wild country Trisar 2D by Terra Nova it has the height and can be opened at both ends great for if the wind changes direction and in summer to let plenty of air inthink this might be slightly lighter though

This looks like a brilliant tent, but why can’t manufacturers create a 2 person tent with more height so that you can stand up and get changed etc? Say 150 cm?

The door has changed, I got the new model that just has a big arched zip all the way on the top, no zipper on the bottom So if you open it all the way, the door part falls down and you can roll it up and there's straps to hold it inside the tent Not sure if improvement, I think probably not

Hi Great video brI have a doubt which couldn't really find the answer brIs it possible to pitch only the inner tent without the fly? Seems like the inner tent hangs on the fly which means you could fast pitch only the fly but not really only using inner tent right?

Had a few naturehike tents Mate has this one and the stitching is pretty poor Wouldn't really trust it in the wind I think when it comes to these AliExpress tents it's very hit and miss as their quality control is next to non existent Sometimes you get a good one other items you get a bad one

I agree with you about it being a good tent for its price but its not accurate and unfair to the staff at hilleberg to say that the main difference is price between this and the Allak, they are both made from diffrent materials and manufacturing processes

Bear in mind the top cap goes a certain way round as the tent tapers at one endive marked mine with adab of permenant pen on the narrower end to make it easier to find good review
