Not sure if an emergency fund is still $1000 but I’m thinking with inflation it should be around $5-10k 10k is about 3x my rent Which is kind of crazy to think that if something happened to my job I’d only be able to survive for 3 months with that amount 6 years ago that could sustain me for 8 months

I disagree with Dave Ramsay on credit cards, but I also kind of agree with him Credit cards are a benefit if you know how they work, but 99 percent of the population doesn't know how to properly use a credit card and they don't have the self control to use one, so overall Dave is kind of right about them
