Please reconsider all the food savering The amount of plastic waste produced by food savering is a lot That food saver plastic will be with the world for hundreds of years Most frozen food is designed to be stored in the containers they are sold in or consider reusable containers Comment from : sbelle |
Hello! If I have things with freezer burn should I toss them out? Comment from : Love always Jasmine |
I sometimes meet with a friend in the city and we'd go for a coffee or ice cream One scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone (which is enough for me) or a coffee don't cost much at all I usually never get food or coffee to go, so doing this very thoughtfully and in good company is so enriching and just worth the few bucksbrbrPS: I love your thoughtful question of the day and I love reading the inspiring answers! Comment from : Reg S |

LOVE THAT BLOUSE-SO COLORFUL AND CHEERY! Comment from : Nina Ledford |

I enjoy watching your videos and find the tips you share really helpful 😊was just curious about the rice that you’ve stored in the freezer! Is this raw rice? Why do you store it in the freezer? Does it spoil when kept outside? I am an Indian and we cook rice regularly so buy in bulk One tip I wanted to share - the older the rice the better and the more expensive So it is good to buy rice and let it get old in a dark dry place If you have problem with bugs ( this happens if there is high humidity) you can add cloves to keep them away Comment from : Meghna Phillips |

Great ideas! Don’t forget to date frozen stuff, and I don’t think they last years in there, and without a generator - all that food would be ruined after 24 hours 😢 Comment from : Shauna Brown |

Dear Emmie, I'm so glad that I took your advice today from a video a few months ago You said to count the pieces of fruit in the bag you are buying and compare it to another bag Well I did and the bag I was buying had 6 apples and another bag had 8!!! I was so happy I remembered your advice!!! I do this regularly now with lemons, onions and even weigh the vegis THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I LOVE YOUR SHOW! May God continually bless you, Paul and especially his parents Comment from : Juanita Nance |

We grill outside and have family over It’s always a great time and we get to fellowship together It’s a chance for our grown sons to spend time together and visit Comment from : Tonda Mccarthy |
Emmy and Paul, great video!! Those collapsible bins from Dollar Tree are what I use for grow bags in my garden!! They last all year and work just as well as the expensive grow-bags from the garden store They are porous and the water doesn't stand in them like it would in a bucket OH, rats!! We don't have the dining app in our area! DixieBelle, you look lovely!! 🥰 Comment from : Susan Robinson |
I checked out the app from your video We only have one restaurant participating but what a place It's a bakery, and who doesn't love anything from a bakery?! brOne thing we do as a treat is offered by our local orchestra They have a few shows a year where you can pay what you can Our maestro is engaging, and he gives talks about what the music is about and the history before the performance Another treat is AMC will have $5 Tuesday price This was very handy with our sons home during spring break and we wanted to take everyone to see a show ErinwithArt Comment from : Art Mifflin |
As I was watching you open the box of pizza, I was thinking what a great way to try new things We usually go to our favorite restaurants and order the same things over and over With this, you get to try something new that you might really like Thanks for a great video! Comment from : Georgie Longo |
Great video heck, all your videos are great! Have you and Paul done a video on how to use the Food Saver frugally, dealing with cost of the bags, etc? I have a food saver, and we do use it, but probably not enough nor wisely Two obstacles: I don't like to keep appliances out so have to pull out the box each time, etc and I find the bags to be quite costly Thanks Comment from : Henriette Area |
I’ve been using the Too Good to Go app since it first came to US It was started in Europe I got 20 bagels for $399 last week I also don’t like food waste, it feels like throwing money in the trash Thank you for another informative video Comment from : Mary Ann Rogers |
I live in Australia At thrift stores I pick up beautiful crystal and I use them everyday and they just feel luxurious Also bone china cups and saucers, they seem special and are pretty and I love drinking my tea this way The most I have ever paid for a crystal glass is $2, cups and saucers about the same Also I think flowers in the house feels luxurious Comment from : Annabel Smith |
That fabric reusable bag or storage cube idea was genius Comment from : Cassandre Living Life |

My chihuahua hates having his nails trimmed He used to cooperate at the vet Now he fights and tries to bite He's injured his back trying to fight them We've finally started trimming his nails at home He's still not keen on it, but if he's needing to be muzzled I'd rather do this in his usual surroundings Comment from : Penny Yager |

Another great video I enjoy Too Good to go in my area too Keep showing us frugal savings tips brMy tip for saving is using CVS electronic coupons They stack, which means multiple coupons can be used at the same time Ex A 40 off and a 15 off can be used against the same item I intentionally apply multiple 'percent off' coupons off of one item that might otherwise cost a lot by itself That's how I once brought down the cost of a coffee maker, and I often use the percentage off one 12 pack roll of toilett paper The trick is that the item can not be on sale Comment from : Cherlane Harris |
I used to make a basket of goodies for my grandmother at Christmas I would put in food items she used on a regular basis plus a few extras that she loved but wouldn't usually buy so they were her special treats For her birthday I would sometimes make a smaller basket of bath/shower goodies Comment from : Caroline Newbery-Wills |

To good to go is fantastic, soo are your gift basket and you plants! Comment from : Piglets bank |
Hi Emmy and Paul, I wonder how the baskets effect the freezing capicity Because they are woven and lined so they proberbly insulate, the cold can not circulate, thats why the freezer usually comes with open drawers My tip would be take a drawer for cooked food, one for meat and one for veggies and make lists with categories / drawers I hope the baskets will work out fine for you🤞let us know Comment from : Piglets bank |
Leave the dog hair for the birds as nesting material Comment from : Dorte k |

❤Love the little clips in between your Friday videos…Fun Family pics and Shorts ❤brI love making little gift pkgs, baskets etc…I sometimes pkg a card with $$ and a little token or treat in a cellphone bag and bow…It’s so much prettier than just a plain cardbrTrader Joe’s has so many fun and unique goodies and plants that are perfect for givingbrI propagate succulents in mugs, bowls, etc that I don’t use anymore or find as discards These make great gifts…putting little rocks or fairy garden things to dress it upbrCongratulations on being so close to 50k!!! Enjoy your weekend and week ❤️ Love that the warm/hot weather has arrived…Lots of yard work, outdoor enjoyment People are so happy the cold has gone for now😂 Comment from : Tugboat Girl |
We have a small upright freezer left behind by the former home owner of our first house and a deep chest freezer I use the upright for make ahead meals, bread, frozen fruits and veggiesbrbrThe chest freezer is for meats, poultry, fish, butter, for longer storage I’m short, and the best way I’ve found to organize the deep freeze uses the sturdy reusable bags with handles from Dollar General They come in different sizes and colors, costing a dollar or two per bag It’s so easy for me to grab the handles and lift out the bags, sorted by beef, pork, sausages, etc Comment from : Miz G |
I love your idea about the collapsible bins for the freezer I use plastic bins but the collapsible ones will move & adjust to what you put in them I like that! Also I like your idea of taking vegetables out of their bags & using a food saver bag for less space used in the freezer I really enjoy your videos Thank you so much! Comment from : Mary Davis |
More wonderful and useful ideas Thanks Comment from : Chris Lear |

Thanks for the info on the app It’s definitely not available in all areas I live in A rural area in North Carolina taking care of my dad right now and there is nothing close by That’s not surprising as there are no restaurants in the 20 minute surrounding area I’ll definitely give it a shot when I’m out and about Love your channel thanks for all you do Comment from : Karline Bohne |

Clean! I know that sounds ridiculous, but putting everything away, tidying up and cleaning off all horizontal surfaces, no dust anywhere to be seen, clear countertops and a shining uncluttered home make me feel rich I believe "Millionaires collect experiences and money Poor people collect debt and clutter" So, just a shining clean home makes me feel special Comment from : Linda C Grace |
